Truck didn’t pass there inspection it was ready for salvage yard. Offered salvage price, they took it to auction to find a sucker to buy it.

Absolute worst dealer experience I’ve ever had. I saw the car, called them back and said I’d be in at 9am when they opened and I had to be at work at 11am. They said the process would be a few minutes and no big deal. Max, the finance guy, showed up at 10:12am and this caused me to be late to work. (Keep in mind the loan was already approved days before this). I bought an extended warranty on the car and later found out there were better options that the dealership didn’t even talk about or give me options for. As a previous Audi owner, I understand the value of a good warranty. They drastically overcharged me for the warranty that’s not even good too. After a couple days of owning the vehicles the front windows are tinted below the MO state requirements, they sold me a car that doesn’t meet the safety requirements for the state of MO. They also overfilled the oil and the car is giving me a “reduce oil level” message- I lm having Audi look at it shortly. Don’t buy from here.

The car sold shortly after I found it on Car Gurus. The staff at Napleton kept me informed and offered their help however there were no cars in their inventory that met my needs.

Drove an hour to see a car that I was told had no damage. It did have damage and nasty, stinky food under the seats. They told me they would detail the car and address some of the damage. Then they would send me pictures and have me come back. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. They totally wasted my time and did not follow through with their promises.

relentless with their calls its a total turnoff. The last guy that left me a message was completely rude and tried making me feel bad because i hadn’t called them back yet! I would rather buy from Carvana or online then deal with a salesman honestly

Not good was told the car was the there had me set up a appointment to view the car just to call back 30 mins later to say the car was sold they wanted me to come up and view some of there other cars dealership confirmed the car is sold but leaves it up on cargurus to reel people in

Could not test drive the suv. I was already on the way and when I did get there the sale women told me they could not even find the tech to even show me the suv. Waited 40 min for nothing. Then later on got told it was fixed. Then it was sold to someone else because I wanted to wait only 30 minutes. Guess the sales lady couldn't wait and it was gone. Then got asked 2 days afterwards about the suv. That was sold to someone else. I would give it a zero star if I could

Test drive and salesman Ben Palla was very helpful and knowledgeable. However, when it came to actually purchasing the vehicle...it was a total nightmare. Took 6 hours and 2 nights of my time to drive off with the vehicle. Then come to find out in the daylight thay the hood was filled with hail damage dings. Financing was horrible! Ben followed up with me and kept passing on messages to finance to call me. Not pleased at all, but Service manager will use my Ding and dent coverage (I paid for in the sales deal) to fix the myriad of dents. Ben was old school customer service, but the rest of the staff didn't follow that lead. Still waiting for a call back a week later.

I worked with Ben, the self-proclaimed "Oldest & Grumpiest guy on the sales floor", who was actually really kind. The vehicle wasn't the right one for us but the dealership was responsive and offered thorough follow-up, without being a nuisance.

They contacted me right away and I set up a visit to the dealership. I called back and set up an earlier visit due to fear the vehicle would be gone. They told me I had a VIP appointment. I was 16 minutes late for the visit because traffic was stopped on the interstate. My greeting was very friendly and a few minutes later I was told the car was in the process of being sold. They told me another car just like it was available but the car was not the same. Earlier they had texted me confirming I had the VIP appointment. I guess a text asking if I was on the way didn’t occur to them. At first loosing the car didn’t bother me but as I thought about it I became annoyed. I get that they are in business to sell cars but I’m disappointed VIP is just a buzz word to give the customer a false sense of being important. I had been looking for the car I found for months. Lesson learned, I won’t bother to make an appointment in the future, it means nothing.

This dealer advertised same vehicle over weeks and was sold, not only that the week after sold vehicle was $500.00 LESS This dealer was showing a Highlander as a hook for people to call and offer others vehicle available. Very disappointed to service from sales and management i had to chance to recieved severals calls trying to sell me anither vehicle.

Mike Clegg was an amazing salesman. He took great care of us. Apparently car sales work differently than they used to. We didn’t care for the way the dealership process itself worked…but in the end, they did meet our needs and we only paid SLIGHTLY more than the advertised price.

I was contacted promptly, & I purchased the vehicle 2 days later. There were quite a few issues with the dealership...the car was actually $1500 more than advertised...they were very short of help and it took 4 visits over 3 days to actually purchase the car. It is still very dirty, although I was told it was detailed. I will now pay for it to be detailed. Still some of the folks I worked with were helpful and knowledgeable. I believe I got an excellent vehicle for a fair price. And I am happy with my purchase.

Salesman got the wrong car, failed to tell me that one I was looking at was sold, and showed me a vehicle that was dirty with the driver side seatbelt broken. Turned me off to a potential $30K sale. Not prepared at all. Pretty disappointed with the Honda dealership. I thought they would be more squared away.

Absolutely terrible experience! I called set up an appointment the next day. I told them I was driving 3 hours away that I was for sure going to buy a truck from them. They call all morning confirming with me that I was going and I clarified I was buying the truck. After2 hours of driving I get a call saying they sold the vehicle! When I said I was turning around they said they had 9 trucks at the same price to still come in. I get there ask what happened with the other truck and they reply with we didn’t know if you would like the truck so we sold it! Then they continue to show me their 9 other vehicles all priced 10-15k over the original vehicle. As I’m leaving they say here’s a gas card for your troubles. If you think you’ll come here and get treated with respect and that they care for their customers this isnt the place to go. They said at the end we are getting a similar truck in 3 days if I’m willing to come back! I do not recommend coming here as they only care about the sale!

Met salesperson and test drove on a Saturday. When I returned my salesperson was busy so they gave me a different one. I made an offer and they wouldn't come down in price. We negotiated and the final price had to be approved by corporate. When I told them I wanted to pay cash I was told they would rather finance. When I told them I didn't want their extra package with car washes, etc that cost another 2 thousand they said they preferred the sales to include it. They called Monday and said they couldn't match my offer and it would have to include their extra package. I declined to buy. Very next day they changed price to 300 less. Oh well. There are other dealers.

Beware and stay away. They are a bunch of liars. Just like so many reviews on here they raise the price by about $4000 when you get to dealership. The only honest thing they tell you is that they give you that price to get you in the door. Very unprofessional!!!

Shady. I should have listened to the other reviews. They add all kinds of fees to the price once you get there ($1100 “shop fees”)??? Also, the salesman negotiates a price with you and then comes back with a higher price from finance manager once you’ve agreed on a price. Then raises it online once there’s interest (seriously, check the price history on car gurus). Don’t waste your time.

I finally setup an appointment to see the car, they confirmed the appointment 45 mins out, I reiterated I was short on time and driving 40 miles to see the Sante Fe. I bought this vehicle just recently and so far I am very satisfied with it. My salesperson name was Will very nice young man I also spoke with the service manager which that was very pleasant as well. Once we have the deal negotiated I spoke with the financing with Mr. Chavez very courteous and respectful young man. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that's in the market of purchasing a vehicle without a doubt.

I drove q hour and a half to find a rusted jeep not at all what I expected. Most of the other dealers I have contacted sent me a video showing me the car this one didn't send me anything. They knew I was coming 3 days prior.

Tristen who we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. I would work with him again. I didn’t like that I received numerous emails and texts from different individuals from the same site before and after making it confusing who I would be working with.

The dealer tried to change price and move me on to a different car from the moment I arrived. First attempt was to raise price when I told them no they said they had another car at that price but it was 2 years older. They told CNN me I was wrong about pricing until I brought up their price on my phone and I didn’t appreciate being told I was wrong by obvious liars. They are idiots, they dont even check if the vehicle is available before setting up an appointment. Upon visiting the dealership i was told the vehicle is sold on the same day i ve setup an appointment. It was waste of my time going there.

Great experience at Ed Napoleon Honda! When I entered the showroom to inquire, it was quite lively with upbeat Halloween shenanigans going on, people were in great mood, salesman was super helpful and took a short time to ready my vehicle for my test drive, spent time with me before driving in showing me all of the features of the vehicle, and remained quite pleasant in the negotiation process and dealing both with me and management :) This was my first time buying from them- def 5 stars as they have followed up on every aspect of the sale.

The vehicle is in wonderful condition. However, the salesman was not very knowledgeable and didn’t seem well respected by the other staff. The manager was unwilling to discuss any reduction in cost. Ultimately, the cost was over $20,000.

Not a pleasant experience, Sales team not straight forward, multiple efforts to get clear written down numbers, all they wanted to know was what I wanted to pay for vehicle and how much money for payments I was willing to pay. After six hours of negotiating and corrections, I was finally beaten down to a deal , I would accept but not what I knew was right. The only good thing was the financing person who was nice and easy to work with.

I had requested to test drive ana Odyssey that was listed for sale. I contacted them last night, and they immediately texted, emailed, and even sent over a personalized video. Since they had already closed, I set up my test drive for the following morning. That morning, we had texted back and forth several times, and one of the sales reps called me to assure me the car would be pulled up and ready for me to test drive for a "VIP" appointment. We saw the car pulled up upon arrival and asked for our sales rep....10 minutes later, they came back and said, "oh sorry. that car sold last night after we closed." I was extremely disappointed with this waste of time. I would have appreciated some honestly before I ever made the drive all the way up there. They were still advertising the car as available after I left. Wish I would have read through reviews before looking at cars at this dealership, because it looks like this is their sleazy sales tactic that they use.

At the dealership we found out that the base price is $3k more than what is advertised. The car trim noted is misleading as the one test drove didn't had a RES. The dealership didn't respond properly when this was pointed out to them.

Went to pick up car. I scheduled an appointment. I answered all thier calls to confirm. I showed up on time. I parked next to the car he said was ready for me. We waited for salesman to get done with other customer for a few minutes. He comes over and says the car is sold. We test drove an older version of the car with more miles without knowing the price. Came back to talk numbers and it ended up being 3 thousand more. They blamed it on being an ex instead of an lx. We walked away. Rediculous

I got several automated emails and at least three phone calls from "customer support" people. I replied to the emails but got no answers to my questions. The people who called me couldn't answer my questions. Napleton did not tell me when the car got sold to someone else. CarGurus had to inform me of that. Since then I've had one more email from asking if I'm still interested in the car. After it had already been sold! In other words, their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing, and there's a flurry of activity designed to show how interested they are, but nothing substantive ever happens. The prospective buyer has to do all the work.

Horrible experience. Total scammers. Complete bait and switch! They clearly advertised a price on CarGurus and their own website and tried to charge me $4000 more. After my test drive, I told them that I was really interested. The salesman said he would be right back and that he would see if he could get me an even better deal. He returns in 10 minutes with a handwritten price sheet which included $4000 in additional mandatory charges. I was like What?!? The sales manger came out as well and they both said that they show those prices online to get people in the door. When I asked to buy the car at the listed price they said that we are just too far apart on price. ??!!?? Please do not waste your time. They took away from me the only morning that I have with my kids all week.

The car had trash all in it . The price listed was not the price they were asking for. They told me it still needed to be serviced and I would have to pay for it. I had cash the person I originally talk to on the phone told me I could get a deal just speak with the manager. The asking price was a grand over what was advertised. I drove a hour to get there . Big waste of time !!!!!!

At first they wouldn't let me use a car loan from my bank because they want the most money possible. They then offered me a rate that was double the amount for the car. They wanted me to pay $360 for 72 months, making me pay $26k over the 6 years. It took me to walk out for them to agree to take my car loan from my bank. Spent 5 hours there to try to be manipulated because of my age.

The car we came to see was mysteriously sold within 20 minutes of the dealership checking in for my appointment and my arrival. The salesman tried to sell me a car with a busted AC unit and a whistling belt and refused to go down in price. When we turned the car down the salesman seemed genuinely angry with me, even though when we first arrived we explained we were not interested in purchasing that day, but just in looking. Also, during our test drive, the salesman came with us and was not wearing a mask during COVID, which is very dangerous. This visit made me never want to purchase a car from a dealership.

There truly needs to be some reconditioning of the way car salespeople are taught to encourage a buyer. I despise when they tell me how many calls they've had on the vehicle I'm interest in, as if to scare me into buying. That was the first thing that annoyed me. However, because I love my daughter and she works hard, I wanted to see her get the car she deserves, so I put my aggravation aside. We drove to St. Peters from Fredericktown, a 2 hour drive and when we arrived the car was not up front or cleaned and still had trash, in the back. Still, I kept my sweet, hard working daughter in mind. Test drive done, time for negotiations, right? I begin with my first offer and Clint comes back to me with a counter offer $4000, MORE THAN THE ASKING PRICE!! He tries to explain this great benefit, the free oil changes she'll get for two years, and some other wheel replacement insurance. This whole thing was very wrong. I'm glad I went with my daughter. BTW, I see it's still for sale, lied again

Vehicle had not been serviced prior to my visit and there were mechanical issue and condition issues with the vehicle including brakes. Price did not reflect any of this and dealer was not willing to lower the price and was asking for a deposit to allow them to repair and clean the vehicle.

They contacted me about scheduling an appointment to come and see a car I was interested in. Two hours before my appointment they called to verify I was still coming and upon getting there they let me know that the car had been sold earlier in the day. Supposedly it had sold two hours before they called to make sure I was still coming but no one let me know it was already sold before I drove out to look at the car. The customer service there was not good, a lot of people just wandering around not really acting like they want to help. The manager came and spoke with me because I was frustrated that I drove out there for a car that wasn’t even available and he acted like he could care less about talking to me about anything. I would never go back to this car lot for anything.

My saleman was Randy, He was my kind of sales person did not pressure, knew his product, made my wife and I feel comfortable. She is wheel chair bound and Randy made sure she was taken care of as it was raining when we arrived The car was for the most part was what I wanted, however the deal kept changing. I was to meet 4 days later to finalise the deal, and was told to go ahead and take the car. . The next day I was called and told to be at dealership at 9:00 am that the papers HAD to be signed that day., long story short I felt they were pulling something and returned the car. Randy met me took the keys and again very polite. Yes I would do business there again if with Randy, and I had everthing I needed to close the deal at that time

Internet director sent message saying they would meet or beat an offer I had gotten. Sent the competive offer to her and have gotten no response. Initially this dealership would contact me every few days, but once I sent the other offer, as was asked of me, no response.

If could give less I would. I reach out to this location and they responded 24 hours later. After contacting me I set up an appointment to purchase the at 5pm the same day after leaving my job. I arrive at the dealership at 5pm as scheduled and they were selling it to a couple who purchased the vehicle. The next day a salesperson contacted me asking if I was still interested in the vehicle not realizing someone had purchased the vehicle the previous day. When I told her that it was purchase by someone she immediately hung up. No sorry for wasting my time or nothing just goodbye.

This was easy purchase. I got a great Certified Honda and it didn’t take all day. Did the financing and I was on the road pretty quick. Would recommend the staff. Good people

Your site says to contact them for their "best" price. They gave me a rude answer saying they only gave their "best" price to people who came in to their showroom. They refused to give me any price at all unless I went all the way to St. Peters. I would never buy a car from them.

Bad Experience!! No follow ups, I was the one who was calling them to know the status over deal. On visiting store they quoted me a price & stick to that although meanwhile they quoted a different lower price over internet. My dealer told me that car got sold then the same day over the phone, dealership told me that it is available. As next day was sunday I called dealer on monday & said it is available as per the call I had then he confirmed that it is & I can come to buy, I was absolutely ready for it & just in next few min he called me back again & told me that it has been sold the very same day. It wasnt sold earlier but due to not the proper follow up, there was no deal.

Called three people and never recd a phone call back. Finally chatted online with an employee who said the car was gone. To this day the car is still listed on their site. I will never do business with this company and went elsewhere, where we successfully purchased a 2015 Mercedes benz c-300

Went there and they sold the vehicle before I arrived. ...,it was a long drive and frustrating no one called to tell me. I put in a order with the mgr for the vehicle I would like to purchase. No one called back so the following weekend we bought a vehicle from Laura Buick in Collinsville. Great service with Laura Buick

Liked that they let us test car over weekend. Did not like the length of time we waited for closing on deal. Excessive. No extenuating circumstances due to credit or the like. Just slow.

I'm sure they aren't usually tricksters but we got the old bait and switch when we went. The car I contacted them about for an appointment on Friday evening was not there at my appt Saturday morning. They acted like it never existed and showed me one that was $45000 more. Waste of time. Dealership is clean and bustling, expensive though.
