My salesperson Chad Oakley was great and very professional. He controlled and managed what he could. There were no commercial surprises from him. Their finance leadership was unable to honor my 4PM appointment. Granted, things happen but this was a major inconvenience with a two hour drive home.

Kenny was great! I knew what I was looking for and what I wanted in a second car for my family. I love my ‘12 Rogue, but needed an upgrade for commuting to my new job an hour away. I contacted Defouw about the ‘18 Kicks I saw on CG and talked with Kenny C. Made an appointment the next day for a test drive. Kenny was polite and answered any questions I had about Nissans CVT. He made sure to communicate with me every step of way when I was waiting to get approved for the loan! Once I was, Kenny made sure to have to the car cleaned up and detailed before I got to the dealership after work. Love my new car and thankful for Kenny’s help.

It was a car they just got but they created a video just for me, worked on the price and financing, and I picked up car tomorrow. The only negative thus far is they wouldn't offer any assistance on delivery for this out of towner.

After I made an appointment via email to look at the vehicle, it was sold the day before my appointment. I drove an hour to see the vehicle only to be told at that time it was sold. I believe that it was unprofessional not to inform me that the car was gone before I arrived. I wasted an hour driving there and an hour driving back, not to mention gas.

Their internet service was very responsive. Dealer was very busy Sat when I went so took a long time to get car. Overall I would recommend them and the sales rep I worked with (Matt Bolin) was very attentive to what I needed bought A6 and drove it home same day.

They kept me on a rope to make me believe my dream car was still available. When I show up to test drive the car is sold and they want to see me the exact same kind I wanted for the same price but just with 100K plus miles on them which is trash for that kind of money.

Mr. Brown did a great job! Defow was not flexible on the sale price of the vehicle, but was willing to negotiate the trade value. Overall good experience. The Suburban was in great condition, and we did buy it.

The sale person named Joe really took very good care of me! The price of the automobile was very competitive and reasonable. I was contacted by a representative relatively quickly by email. He was very polite and answered all my questions. Then he set me up an appointment with the dealership. Then passed me off to a sales representative who called me at home to verify my appointment with him. When I arrived they had secured for me a very competitive interest rate. Better than the one I had I might add. So I must say I had a very please experience with this dealership! I would highly recommend making the drive to Lafayette to purchase your next used or new automobile.

On line I notice right away DeFouw Auto was ready to deal with a lot better price then any of the other competitors. I contacted them online and was immediately contacted by their representative.Sales rep. Ben Mulikin was very friendly,informative,and very effective in managing a potential sale of this BMW. I was also contacted by Mike Overby,Gen. Sales Manager, to insure I was satisfied with the deal,and He even sweetened the sale price! If I lived closer to their dealership,I would be buying a car from them. Great bunch of people!

I worked with internet specialist Dave Jeffers and salesman Noel Evans at DeFouw. They were both great to work with. No pressure and genuine good guys. Also, the car was priced better than any car within hundreds of miles. When I arrived after giving them very short notice, the car was pulled up and ready for a test drive. It was immaculate inside and out. I could tell right away that they took pride in their work. After a short drive, I was filling out paperwork to buy it. I would highly recommend Dave and Noel at DeFouw for your next car purchase.

DeFouw Chevrolet in Lafayette it's a great place to start your car shopping experience! I live in NW Indy area and at the beginning of the year I started my search for our next car, looking for an used Chevy Equinox. I bought it a month ago from Defouw Chevy. So, I'm writing this review not under the euphoria of a new car purchase, but after the things settle down and I used the car for the past month. After a week of internet research I started to contact different dealerships. Even from this point the experience was great with DeFouw: they answered my questions and even they invited me to come and see their cars they didn't try to pressure or lure me in. After we checked several dealerships in Indianapolis area, we decided to go and check some in Lafayette. We visited some and in the end we went to DeFouw Chevy. We really liked what we found here: great services provided in timely manner, the salespeople didn't try to sell their cars telling us untrue stories, but most important we liked the cars. Comparing them to what we found in other places these cars looked and feel great and they had competitive prices. The car we bought I also took it to a car shop in my hometown to be inspected, after I bought it, and they said the same thing: the car was in a great shape. We visited the dealership two times until we agreed on a car, and we worked in our negotiations for the car with several sales agents and their manager and all of them did an awesome job. After I bought the car I talked with a friend of mine that lived in Lafayette area ten or fifteen years ago and he said he used to buy cars from them, too, because of their great services and quality of the cars. It seems over the years they managed to keep their high standards in a very competitive business. So, I think you won't go wrong if you'll start your car search with them!

Doug was very nice, very courteous and helpful. Called about a 2014 silverado, wasn't told before I drove 2 hours that it was a no haggle dealership so that was little upsetting, ended up not buying the truck.

The first sales person that was monitoring the internet was very helpful and referred me to a second salesperson. This salesman informed me that the car was sold pending financing. Didn’t feel that this second salesman was very interested in selling a car.

They never cleaned the car out at all and they never went through the car like they said they did. (we have warranty and an appoint at a different dealer to have it gone through correctly, the mechanicals of it that is. It is sucking gas terrible, so something isn't right, if they had done their job, they would have found that out and fixed it) There was garbage in it, and they never cleaned the spots. A floor mat was missing, they did get me a new one before we left. The lever to move the back of the driver seat was gone and they didn't know it! Car dealers are notorious for being liars and cheats, but these people take the cake! NEVER doing business there again. EVER SOOOOO disappointed! greed has gotten the better of them! Shame on us for buying it, shame on them for knowing selling a not right vehicle.....we just bought this on 1/14/17 and it is 1/16/17. I do like the car, but wish I would have went elsewhere....big mistake on our part.....huge!

We scheduled an appointment but the car we went to see was filthy and had trash in it. The dealership had been using it to transport employees but didn't take time to clean it even though they had 2 days to do so. The sales man didn't know the list price or really anything about the vehicle. Very poor experience.

I called on a Tuesday and inquired about a 2008 F-250. They had just got the truck so they told me they would service the truck that day and would be ready by Wednesday at 10:00 am. I drove 4.5 hours and arrived at 9:45 am to find that the truck just completed its service but no detailing had been done. After test driving, I ask them to fix the wheel alignment. While the technician was working on the alignment he noticed that the catalytic converter was missing. They informed me that they couldn't sell the truck without this part and that they would need to install one. In my opinion, this should have been addressed at servicing and saved me a trip. We continued with negotiations and I was still interested in purchasing the truck. The sales manager, Matt, approached me and said he isn't going to sell me the truck because he didn't have enough money in it to fix it. I was furious that he didn't even offer to meet in the middle. It was as simple as that. Obviously they don't care about their customers or their customers time!

Submitted online request for info. Received email and phone call within a few hours. Made arrangements to see on Saturday when they opened. Truck was ready in front waiting and salesman worked hard to compete with my credit union rate and actually beat it. Very positive experience. I made a reasonable offer expecting them to meet me half way and they did. I will start here in future when looking to buy again.
