John kept in contract with me throughout the purchasing process. The listing was accurate. The vehicle was clean & ready for a test drive when I arrived. Dexter & John were very helpful & up front about the vehicle history. The pricing was fair and there were a lot of

I had a Great experience, I was in and out. I didn’t feel pressured they were very patient while I decided between cars which in the end I got the car I truly wanted! They don’t feel like they are selling you a car but helping you make a purchase you will enjoy.

Can't say enough good things about John and the team at Dawson's. I'll admit I was a bit
apprehensive as I had never bought a car from a small used car dealer like this, but my mind
was completely changed by John's excellent customer service. I found the car on CarGurus,
contacted John and negotiated an out the door price over the phone. No crazy fees or hidden
charges. Went to the dealer a couple hours later, inspected and test drove the car (a minty fresh,
one-owner 2018 Hyundai Elantra SEL), and 20 minutes later had the keys, registration, MD tags,
and a great car at a great price. I've bought probably 10 cars over my 52 years - some from new
car dealers, some from private parties but this was without a doubt the easiest, most hassle-free
experience of all of them. Kudos to John and the rest of the Dawson's team, and thank you!

What they said about the car was true so we bought the car . So many times dealers say there inventory is nice but it isn’t thanks again for a great deal
I called the dealership and was hoping to make a trip there from NY. The sales associate I spoke with was courteous and upfront about the vehicle and the fact that it had a lot of inquiries. The truck sold quickly, but I'd be willing to make the drive if another quality truck shows up on their lot.

I bought a car from Dawson’s and had a terrific experience. John responded immediately to my request for information. I set up an appointment for a test drive. The car is in great shape and was very reasonably priced. Dexter and the guys in the shop are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a family-owned shop that takes customer service very seriously. I would definitely buy from Dawson’s again.

Salesman the owner Dexter had stated that the truck was ready and would pass Maryland inspection I got there looked at the truck it was a big disappointment . The back tire had a area where the rubber was missing on the sidewall. The damage was really noticeable. I feel he was going to pass the Maryland state inspection using his company inspection. I told him I would not buy this truck in that condition. The response by grandfather Dexter " No problem I have two others interested in the Truck." He also put on the vehicle details " No smoking ever in this truck". The fact was every ashtray had ashes in them. The man cannot be trusted. I wasn't happy that he lied about the Truck ,and wasted my time. I could remark about this company , with a few choice words, but I think readers will get the message. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I do wish you had seen Me or had given us a chance to fix or address your concerns with the truck you were interested in. I do assure you that we do not cut any corners on Md State inspection and I feel we go over and beyond what is required. Rule one of used car shopping: pay cash. Do not finance an older vehicle. If you don't have the cash, you can't afford the 2x-more expensive financing. That said, Dawson's gave me the best used car experience I have had to date. Dexter was fair, reasonable and willing to negotiate. He held up his end of the bargain admirably, fixing what needed to be fixed, and a few items that could be considered extra. I'm very pleased with the whole deal.
