I purchased a used car from DARCARS Kia Temple Hills, excited to drive it home. I requested the required Maryland State Inspection Report multiple times but never received it. Frustrated, I took my Hyundai to a Hyundai dealership, where it did not pass inspection due to all four tires being unsafe. I expected DARCARS Kia Temple Hills to provide a roadworthy vehicle but instead faced unexpected expenses to address safety concerns. Unfortunately, they declined to assist with the issue. If you're considering purchasing from this dealership, I strongly recommend confirming that the vehicle meets all safety and inspection standards before finalizing your purchase.

The vehicle posted isn’t for sale. I called several times and gave the stock number and VIN. I received a call, and when I called back 5 minutes later, no one was available so I left a message. When they returned the call, I had to restate everything and then said they would look into it. They also asked me to come in. They eventually dropped the call, and I had to call back. They said they were looking for it and eventually asked his manager and another colleague while I was on the phone. The salesman found it funny we finally relayed that the vehicle didn't exist. His boss and colleagues seemed more annoyed than happy that I pointed out the error. I’m glad I didn’t waste my time driving in for this bait and switch.

They have contacted me through email. I have asked about a virtual meetings and negotiations or completing all of that through email. Instead, they asked me to drive there. I live 50 miles away. I would rather know if they can work with what I can offer before I drive two hours roundtrip.

Although they were friendly, they are not very prompt to replying back. Too many multiple people contacted me instead of one trying to make it happen (lack communication in house). Nothing bad about there actual correspondences with me.

It was a very bad experience They have no Costmer service at all They mad me drive 49 minutes and when I reached there they said it was out and someone is using it I don’t understand how you posted a car for sell and then you still have it using it and the milage is still changing

Started with Salesman #1. Later Salesman #2 tells me he is my contact going forward. Salesman # 2 gives pricing higher than Salesman # 1. Appeared to me a bait and switch scam. Later salesman # 1 calls to explained he is also confused as to what happened but that the dealership would honor his original pricing. I will not deal with the dealership.

Really bad experience with this dealer The price of the car they had advertise was different from $18,071 posted on CarGurus to more than $28,000 Do not bother even I qualify for many other incentives they told me I didn’t I call ahead to let them know that I was coming I got there in the car not even had gasoline to go for a test drive

Car deal, price was agreed to over phone. There was an 850 dollar delivery fee that surprised me, but it was in the ads fine print. All in all I got a great deal!

A 2016 Kia Optima EX was listed on car gurus for $15,175.00. The disclaimer stated this price included several discounts. Although the car was used, with 4500 miles, it was being sold as new. I do not qualify for the college grad, military, or uber discounts totalling about $1800.00. However, they also threw in leasing discounts, loyalty discounts, competitor discounts that I was not aware of. It turns out the actual price is $5000.00 higher than listed. It took several phone calls, back and forth, to get to the actual price. I think this practice of low balling the price is very misleading, resulting in a considerable waste of time. Minimally, each discount should be clearly stated in the listing. I will say the sales person I spoke with, Jasmine, was very professional and helpful.

Horrible Unethical A car was listed on the site as new. Salesman stated it was a demo with 5,000+ miles on it. I specifically asked why it was priced so low under MSRP. I was told it was because it was a demo with mileage, and that it had never been titled. It took them a while to even locate the car when we arrived even after they called to confirm I was coming, stating that the car was ready for me to test drive. After driving it we noticed the door was scratched and dented and the wheel rim was bent and rusted over. The photos on the web site were clearly not of the actual car. This was classic bait and switch. When something seems too good to be true, IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your time.

Terrible Overall. Had an online quote emailed directly from the manager which was apparently just bait to get me in the door. They will knowingly include rebates & discounts you don't ask for or qualify for in their quote and they tell you that you should have checked the website to see that they explain that. Their email quote and in person quote were $4,500 different. Overall I had the impression it operates on the fringes of ethical. Also, made an appointment over the phone, showed within 1 minute of that time and got passed around for 20 minutes until I was able to finally get someone to test drive the car. terrible, traveled 3 hrs on memorial day, and they did not text or email me the night before that they sold the car...said they text me, which they did at 10am the next day when i was already in the vicinity

Staff was cooperative and low pressure. Responded quickly, a little confusion in initial communications. Typical car buying experience with 'shuffles' and up sale efforts, but we agreed on vehicle and price.
