Absolutely horrible experience. The cars we saw were beat and extremely dirty on the inside. They tack on $1k if you don’t finance with them. When we sat down to talk numbers they refused to give us a trade in value because “we’d use it as leverage” DO NOT SHOP HERE

Wife and I took time off drove far got deposit as told by sales rep got all excited until you arrive at the dealership and was informed the car was sold! WTH! Was communicating with sales rep same day that it was a go! Unbelievable! Never have I ever dealt with a dealership like this! Don’t ever go to this dealership!

I do not recommend purchasing a used car from Colonial. They add a $2000 service charge to the advertised price of their used vehicles and claim advertised price requires you finance through dealership. I had an issue less than one week after purchasing. The skid plate fell off the bottom of the vehicle while I was driving on the highway so I notified the dealership for repairs. They told me to bring it in and they would take care of it. A few days later they told me the vehicle was ready for pickup.. they did not repair anything and accused me of hitting something with the vehicle and essentially called me a liar on their sales floor and told me they would repair it for $300. I plan to do the repairs on my own and will never do business there again.
Dealer responded promptly. I told the sale person I was very interested that I was coming from over two hours away. I sent the dealer a pre qualified cargurus loans + a possible trade. On my way there , I was told I could not put a deposit down , that it was" first come first serve". 1 hour and 10 mins into my drive to test drive and buy. I was told a walk in bought it. This to me is a inconsiderate practice! I won't recommend this dealer to anyone....

for 500 bucks. The manager there is terrible

I asked to be contacted via text only. The salesperson immediately called me instead. I asked about lease pricing on this vehicle and she told me that I would have to come in to the dealership. She refused to give me any information over the phone. Their dealership is 90 minutes away from me and I certainly wasn’t wasting my time. Terrible customer service experience immediately!

Great Dealer Great Salesman Owen Excellent Deal
Bunch of clowns at this dealership, I made appointment to see a hellcat redeye, 105k car I show up there and the manager has been driving the car, got a baby seat in the back all his person stuff and has 155 miles on it already and I said something about and, the response back was if you don’t want to buy the car because of that we don’t even want to sell you the car♂️ It’s the nature of the beast he says, if you are selling a car for 105k 10k over sticker at that, you shouldn’t be showing the car with personal belongings in it and putting miles on it. I wouldn’t buy a tinker truck from these clowns, buyer beware

Dealer did not honor the price advertised here. Ended up settling on 27,800, they started out trying to get 29,300 which just wasted my time. They also screwed up the financing paperwork by not crediting my down payment causing me to waste more time contacting them for refunds. Overall disappointing experience.

What a waste. The manager was wearing a North Face sweatshirt & jeans. Talk about unprofessional wanted to go thousands under KBB value for my trade in. I said if they couldn’t offer me more, at least KBB value, I was leaving. The man wearing jeans told me I could leave & I was unprofessional. My husband drove 5 towns over for our grand Cherokee, right past Dartmouth. This is why. Terrible terrible service. What a shame since Lacey was wonderful prior to arriving.

Dealership: That would work perfect! I will put you in for then! When you arrive, just let them know you spoke with Lacey, and I will introduce you to a product specialist to show you the vehicle!
Me: Lacey I'm extremely taken back by the lack of professionalism that I have experienced when arriving for our appointment. I understand that inventory turns over frequently but a courtesy call would have been appreciated and I would have not made the 30 mile trip. I thought all I would qualify for was a used car but they found ways to get me a new one they worked miracles and I love it I would definitely recommend them to anyone
They had used Honda which looked well worth considering. Despite seeing terrible reviews about that dealership decided to take a test drive. Surprisingly to myself ended up buying that car. First of all it turned out to be much better car for better price than other options. But also service and entire dealership experience was unexpectedly great. Initial communications were quick and informative. Car was described very accurately online and was perfectly clean. Sales representative Dave was friendly and knowledgeable. Paperwork prep was quick and simple. Whole experience was fast, courteous, businesslike and even relaxing. No pressure, no pushing any extras, no nonsense. Friend accompanying me on that trip was equally impressed. Most importantly, love the car. Thanks, Colonial.

THIS DEALERSHIP IS AMAZING! Lacey set me up with an appointment that worked with my schedule, as I live in CT and work full time and
she was super nice and understanding. I was set up with Alfonso and he was just as amazing. I told him which Jeep I was interested in and he
went a grabbed it for me and I went for a test drive. I fell in love immediately and ended up driving my Wrangler home that day! I would like to
recognize the sales manager as well, he made me feel very comfortable and told me about some local Jeep clubs. Lastly, I'd like to say there

Made an appointment to look at a truck. I showed up it and instead of being able to look at they told me it was in
the shop. They brought me in anyway, but they had the battery out and the truck apart. Couldn't hear it run or go for
a test drive, then they were surprised I put in a offer 2k lower then asking. This place just overall just wastes your
time.

I checked the value in CarGurus for $10.800 I made the calculate and I know they need to add the cost of Registration, Title, Taxes. Total
about $1.500 more on top of the original price. This is fine, but Their trick was to increase the market value of the car by $2.000 so they show
me in a paper the real price was $12.800 plus $1.500 for Registration, Title, and Taxes. then everything went wrong because numbers
increase and also they were talking about the dealer will be penalized by the bank and is my who has to cover it.
Zero stars if I could. Overall my experience
was awful. The price of the car didn’t
include the $1000surprise “service fee” the
price wasn’t transparent as the dealership
promises, so expect any car to be a
thousand bucks more than what your seeing
on here, which may affect the “good deal”

there was paint chipping off of the front
which is not the condition it was left in when
I purchased it, The owner said he’ll buy

Absolute clowns! Horrible experience from the get go. I contacted the dealership to set
up an appointment to come in to test drive / purchase a vehicle. It took 3 reps Chip,
Nick, and Hannah to coordinate one appointment. So once the appointment was set, I
drive an hour to the dealership. I enter the facility under their COVID-19 protocols and
am told by Chip the BDM to "back up or he'll have to put a bullet in my head." Weird
way to greet a customer, even if he was kidding. I was then told to wait outside for 15
minutes, which was frustrating seeing how I had made an appointment in advance.
After waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes another random sales rep comes outside
to tell me the vehicle i had inquired about was sold and to have a good day. No
apologies for not letting me know before i drove an hour and no effort to maybe
showing me some similar vehicles that could be of interest. Overall awful experience I
would give them negative stars if i could.

Drove from CT to see this vehicle. Contacted the dealer several times to let them know I was coming. Got there and the truck was being negotiated with someone else. Although I was not happy I understand it was a timing thing so we decided to look at the truck anyway. The truck was in absolutely disgusting condition. The inside was completely filthy the outside needed a wash and buff desperately. It also needed some body work - why can’t that be added into the description? If they knew I was coming (or even if they didn’t) couldn’t someone at lease run it through a car wash?

I'd make it zero if I could. Awful experience. Sold us a car at a higher price than advertised with a bait and switch, then told us they had already sold it to someone else just as we were closing our loan because they had made a mistake in their system even though they took our deposit and gave us a purchase agreement. A total train wreck from beginning to end.

I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews of this dealer. They had a reasonable price on the Jeep I was looking at, but the sales manager, Noor, seemed very put out when I pointed out that the Jeep was missing 4 of the bolts and a latch that holds the roof on. Prior to that he said the Jeep had been thoroughly gone through. Reluctantly he said he would provide the bolts. Last straw was his attitude on providing floor mats. Car was also dirty. This dealership does not do the basics of customer service so you worry about the quality of the car. Stay away. Much better options out there.

There prices on cargurus website where wrong. Wanted to buy a new 2019 big horn model but couldn't get to the "saving price" . It was always at MSRP price. When I asked about the savings price ,I had to be a retired vet or had a lease car threw Chrysler or some other stipulation.

They lied about price when i got there the price was $1000 more than the prics on CarGurus. The girl that greeted me was very friendly and helpful. The car was clean and ready for test drive when i arrived. My overall experience was bad the dealership misrepresented the price of the car.
Colonial South of Dartmouth was very accommodating. Staff was quick to respond to my inquiry. Car was accurately described. The general manager was excellent to work with when negotiating my trade and the finance manager was equally responsive to my questions and concerns when it came down to making the deal. I have already recommended the dealership to several friends who are looking for a new car.

Car was advertised for $52,000 with comment, "No reasonable offer refused". We offered $51,000 cash for the car and were rejected. Dealer said the price was firm -- after a $1,000 deposit and requirement that the car be financed through one of their banks. Salesman admitted that dealership receives a "kickback" on the financing, so real price of car was $53,000 + kickback. We left. Next day price of car was advertised as $53,000, no comment re: reasonable offers, and no comment re: financing requirement. We won't be back.

Excellent from every aspect Even though I ended up not buying, working with Tony M was great and I would recommend them.
General manager Eli was very unprofessional. Literally walked away from us in anger over his displeasure with our negotiation, at which point we just left. He was rude and combative. Seemed to be either kind of a bully or has anger issues. Either way I would not recommend this dealer nor would I give them any future business.
My experience with this dealership was a nightmare. The sales manager isn’t the most pleasant guy to talk to or deal with. The car I was leaving looking at had too much coolant to the point where it was leaking out of the reservoir and had bald tires. Nothing I couldn’t fix but when you spend 25k on a car you would hope it has the right amount of coolant in it. When I actually purchased the we weren’t sure on how to register the car as I live in Maine and the dealership is in Massachusetts. I went home to figure out how to do this, talked to them and figured out what we were going to do. I overnighted the paperwork to them on Tuesday. The postal service said it arrived on Wednesday. We called on Thursday and they said they couldn’t find it and told us to send another. We payed $25 to overnight it, so we told them to find it. Forward to the next Tuesday and they said it just arrived in the mail and they told us they messed up the paperwork when they bought my car so they were going to mail that to us so we could sign it again and they were sending everything I needed to get the car registered. We received a package on Thursday with only their forms. I hadn’t had a car for two weeks at this point and I was so angry that we called them up on Saturday to tell them we were coming down to straighten everything out because they were consistently not doing what they said they were going to do. They then assured us that they were going to send a runner up to finish the paper work on Tuesday which was then pushed to Wednesday but at least the runner came with all the correct paperwork and I could finally drive the car. So it took three weeks for them to do what we needed them to do in order for me to drive my car. It was the worst car buying experience I had ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Sold me a car with all wheel drive told me so then had my mechanic look at it. The car was missing a drive train and disconnected the other now refuses to fix it or refund me. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They are a bunch of scam artists and are not trustworthy, go to a different car dealership that won’t screw you over.

Horrible...my fiance and I called the dealer separately and the same woman told me the car was available, then had been sold. Then when my fiance called she said it was still available, mind you it wasn't. So I called them on it because I wasn't going to have him drive an hour for absolutely no reason. She was taken back and needless to say I would never buy anything from here. Good luck to all who do!

Dealer responded quickly and provided the additional information I requested. This did not lead to a purchase, but Kayla H. was extremely helpful and professional. Although this dealership is about 90 minutes away, I will consider them again throughout my car buying process.
