I was looking at a Car after 1 day of speaking getting my financing done Kristy and Todd did a great job I was going to get the car shipped I was told it was sold to some one else — no one knows why I was puzzled to say the least after speaking to the Sales Manager O Well live and learn Never Experienced anything like this

The pricing history you referenced is unfortunately not controlled by us but rather by CarGurus. In this case, the price history you saw was actually from the previous dealership before we acquired the vehicle. When we listed it for sale, we priced it based on our own market data and pricing strategy—not what the prior dealer had it listed for.

The guy I talked to was nice. The manager on the other hand.... I tried to negotiate to bring the price down because it showed an accident on the vehicle and cargurus showed it being over priced. The guy I talked to supposedly talk to his manager and said they would take $500 off if I signed up for some kids thing. Looking at their website they were running a promotion. If you signed up for some school supply thing they had for kids you would get $500 off the purchase of a vehicle. That was their counter offer they were trying to give me. I ended up getting the same vehicle withe a few more miles for about $3000 less from a smaller dealership. My advice is if a car dealership doesn't negotiate, and I mean really negotiate. Keep looking and go somewhere else.

We have changed many internal processes over the last few years that make this less likely to happen. However, there are times when someone wants to test drive and purchase a vehicle that they see online but someone else has come to the dealership and purchased it before them.
