After spending a number of hours comparing vehicles in your area (Florida) to ours (Nevada), and discovering the G80's you were comparing to ours had far less options (No Prestige PKG), powertrains (2.5 4 cylinder turbos and NOT AWD), you acknowledged that the price seemed more reasonable.

We then moved into the purchase options:  Financing out of state, or Cash. When financing out of state we would require you to be approved and would collect sales tax at your City/County's current rate,  when paying cash no sales tax would be collected, as you would pay that when you registered the vehicle in Florida.   You opted for a cash out the door number, which we provided in full transparency.  As a dealership, we have fees which were fully disclosed to you in writing, and a breakdown/explanation of each.   The first of those fees is an additive tire sealant ($595) we already applied to the vehicle.  You were not willing to pay for it, so we simply removed the fee associated with it.  The other Fee is our Documentation Fee of $399.00, which every single Dealer in the United States has (And charges vary from state to state anywhere from $85-995) - After you asked how long it would take to collect the required information to move towards purchase, I explained 15 minutes or less.  You then stated "if it only takes 15 min or less why is the Doc Fee $400?"  (Which is entirely irrelevant to what a DOC Fee is used for ) I explained that the Documentation Fee covers the back-office work a dealership does with any car purchase. Basically, you're paying for paperwork. This can include vehicle registration, license plates, checking a trade-in value, making certain a trade-in is free from recalls, title transfer work and other administrative functions that come with buying or leasing a car.

Its very similar to what a Realtor charges when you buy a home or rent commercial real estate.  

You then stated you would refuse to pay the documentation fee, which I explained was not removeable per our dealership (and 100% of any other dealerships) policy.  You then stated in text and I quote:  "Okay then thanks for your time, I wont pay the $400.00 Documentation fee."  I replied with a thumbs up.  Conversation was over - 5 minutes later you left a 1 star review. And as for your statement regarding threatening you about your review, I simply asked why after spending hours assisting you, you had the audacity to leave a 1 star review, simply because you didn't get another $400 off..  We are sorry you felt as if you were treated so poorly to warrant a 1 star review, but felt it best to publish our reply in detail for others to read as well.  Best of Luck!
