Carlton Automotive opened for business in 1981. We started as a small used car dealership and repair facility. Since then, we’ve grown from 2 employees, to a staff of 15. In 2016 we built a brand new facility at I43 and exit 116 allowing us increase our inventory and more service bays to better serve our customers. Very nice. Picked a car in my price range. Answered all questions so that I could understand the answers.

Do not buy from this dealership. I first contacted this dealer on 5/10/2021 to inquire on availability since it was over an hour away. On 5/12/2021 I drove to dealership and took a test drive and asked if they could take care of a couple small issues. I had to call back numerous times to get answers for the small defects. I then called and told Markus that I will take vehicle and asked him to send contract to my bank. Called back on Friday and told him that I would pick up on Monday because I was going to my daughters graduation and she was getting my car and that all financing had been approved and that I was putting $4000 down and my wife was taking off of work for Monday. On Saturday morning I get a call that Carl the owner sold the car even though I had committed to picking up on Monday. Buyer please be aware that you are only a number and not a customer. They said they would try to find something else but that has proven to be false also. I would not recommend this dealership.

questions, let my hubby really look it over in the
shop and gave us great service. We are pleased
to be picking up our "new to us" vehicle at the
end of the week!
