Chevy waa great
I worked for GM for many years and this visit was less than savory. We were greeted kindly, our salesman wasn’t available (NO fault of his own, we were scheduled for the next day.) We drove two hours (our choice) to view a Yukon that had been there for some time. Upon viewing it you could tell someone clearly didn’t take the best care of it. However, the dealer made no extra effort to at-least make it presentable besides haphazardly wiping it down & a quick vacuum. (There was glue everywhere from the previous owners rhinestone/glitter trim application.) We test drove the vehicle to find the alignment wayyy off we were told it didn’t fit on their machine due to a small lift, but they offered to have it done next day even though it’s been on their lot and they knew we were coming. My husband is a mechanic & raised genuine inquiry’s/questions regarding the condition and we were told “we aren’t sure, we didn’t touch it, that’s how we got. Needless to say, we passed.

Worst experience ever! They said they had the charger I was looking for and I could test drive it when I got there but when I got there all of the chargers was in the back getting fixed. They wasted my time and was very unprofessional. Do not go here!!!!

We had other chargers to sell. You were abusive towards the staff as soon as you arrived and continued to curse and speak abusively over text. We are not going to do business with someone who acts like you do.

have bought a car from in my 60 years.The
salesperson told me we could negotiate the price
but there wasnt any negotiation. He came back with
an offer minus the optional items of paint
protection and fabric protection the vehicle price
was still the same as asking price. I still bought the
car but my wife was not present so i had to fill out
paperwork and mail it back to them. After i saw it
was delivered i called to make sure they actually
had it after several days and phone calls promised
to call back still nothing. found the owners direct
line on other reviews of the dealership. He said he
would find out and get someone to call me . Never
heard anything. My name and my wife were
supposed to be on the title liked i filled out.dmv
sent me the docs and only my name on title.they
blamed on dmv mistake. Dmv said thats what they
provided. I must pay to change my title now and pay
again . Spent a lot of time dealing with them but
never again
I've been in contact with these people for four days about FLYING OUT to come BUY this vehicle. When I go
up to the vehicle and look around, it's filthy dirty. That's the first thing. I have a food truck and I'm getting this
truck to tow my food truck so I pacifically asked if this truck had a tow package. The seller on the phone told
me yes the description said it had a tow package. I go around to look for the package and these people literally
drilled a hole in the bumper right in front of the tag and put a ball there. smh that wasn't the dealbreaker. Now I
have a check from my bank with enough to cover the vehicle plus more, but for some reason they require me to
fill out a credit application...

You had spoken to us about flying out but never confirmed or told us when you were coming out. your last message to us was you would let us know and then all of a sudden you are calling us from the airport. We told you repeatedly that we would require a credit check. We do accept payments from outside financing but we always require verification of the person we are doing business with. Worst dealership experience of my life. Found a car I liked at a good price, only to find out that they add on over $2,300 worth of dealership fees to every purchase. Talked to the salesman about dropping them down to $800, which he agreed to do, so I moved forward. Then the manager sends me an invoice that was $2,000 over the number we had already agreed upon. After showing screenshots of the previous conversion he reluctantly agreed to honor the original price. Then I go to pay, and they STILL added on an extra $575 fee that both the salesman and manager had already agreed to have dropped for me, and refused to take it down despite screenshots from both parties saying they could and would. Even though at that point I didn’t want to reward their deception with my business, I really needed a car so I was going to pay the fee and just be done with it. I waited over a week to hear back from their finance department, with daily reminders that they will “contact me any time now,”…

This dealer is in my eye without leadership, I had some interest in of vehicle on their lot. When I visited at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon I spent 30 minutes walking the lot and looking for a salesperson. In order for me to speak with someone I had to stomp my feet and scream at the top of my lungs and it still took too long for a sales person to show up. I made an offer on the same vehicle 3 different times and as I’m writing this review only my last offer was less cash than they are selling it for now. The property is in very poor condition no updates have been done since the place was originally built. Every deal that I tried to get done went one of two ways, trying to bate and switch or turning into who’s got the biggest pair. I went there to buy a car not to be deceived or check my man card. Over all Big John Carlson and his staff earn the title,”Big”, as in big cheezy stereotype used car salesmen.

Terrible service they tried to up charge the car and sell it to me for $17,700 when it was initially posted for $15,000

The salesman (Earnest) was very low key and not the least bit pushy. I enjoyed working with him.
The one thing that galls me about the transaction was the application of a processing/document
fee. It was $789 which to me is outrageous. That would be the one thing that might keep me from
doing business with Baker in the future.

The dealer did not contact me. I called them--twice--and discussed what I wanted.
Unfortunately, the auto we sought at their dealership, was not what we wanted. However, were I
closer to Red Springs, I would check out their inventory for my next vehicle. This is the star rating. I left them a message Friday night and got no response up to Saturday at
12:30. I called and got a different salesman than I left message. He was eating lunch. Called first agent to see what was going on, she told me to call the second agent. He
was not up to speed on the options on the 2020 Tahoe I sought but did know enough so that I summized it was not what I wanted. Everything considered, 3 stars is a good
rating.

The vehicle they had was the runner up to the one we purchased. Granted, the one Baker had was
equipped with more "bells and whistles," and was right at $1,000 higher than the one we purchased in Cary.
My wife had misgivings over the red color as we are aware it is the most hijacked/stolen vehicle color, We
opted for a blue Frontier that was 34 miles closer to our residence.

Johnnie and Jason made purchasing the truck a easy process. No pressure, no long time haggling, just straight to the point.
Would recommend.
Josh was the greatest! He did everything to make my deal easy from responding quickly to my inquiry all the way to helping me drive my new vehicle off the lot. He committed with me before driving into the dealership to start the application process so that we didn't have to make it an all day process and the team worked expeditiously, but carefully, to get me the best deal possible. Everyone was great, the vehicle was everything that I wanted, and the price was amazing! I will definitely be sending family and friends in to see this team of hard workers for their new or used vehicles. I loved the enthusiasm, passion, and dedication that Josh exemplified for his work. He made me feel as if the vehicle was mine from start to finish.
Good response from the dealer , but I live two hours away and I asked if the price was negotiable. I was told no all our list prices are our best prices. I wasn’t asking for a five finger discount but I also don’t expect to pay list price for a used vehicle. Not at any effort to try and help me with a vehicle purchase.

Went out Saturday morning and looked at the vehicle and had a brief conversation with Taylor discussing options. Called back on Monday and told him I wanted the vehicle, and gave him the info he needed. Went in Wednesday morning a little after 9 and drove home before 10. No pressure! Simple and easy, just the way I like it.

They had a Ram I was interested in. I called first
to confirm they had it. When I got there I liked
the truck and was going to buy it. I already had
the money walking in. When it came to start
talking numbers they immediately jacked me.
They definitely try and rip you off on your trade
in. They offered me half of what others did. They
absolutely refuse to negotiate. When I said to
them that they offered half they scoffed and
thought nothing of it, giving me the old well it’s
gonna have to go to auction scam. I stood up
and left, amazed that they’d just let me leave
with out a word of negotiating. Stay away. I
bought a $30,000 truck in Fayetteville. Their loss.

Although they responded promptly to my inquire, they didn't even try to get my business by offering anything off or even trying to offer additional incentive to buy the vehicle. In fact, when I asked them what their bottom line price is for out the door for an out of town, sight unseen buyer like myself, they actually raised the price to include all of the typical add on fees dealers charge. As a Pre-Approved and cash capable buyer who doesn't like buying vehicles long distance to begin with, I was at least expecting them to go the distance or meet me part the way by offering something in the form of a discount or extra incentives.

I called to inquire about a vehicle from their website. Once I was told it had sold earlier on that same day, I was rather disappointed that the salesperson didn't offer any further assistance in helping me find something else. I ended up successfully finding something in Wilmington. I hope that this was just an isolated occurrence because I had not heard anything bad on Baker before my experience.

I contacted them about a Yukon they took the time to send me photos. Was very responsive to my request. I decided I wanted to go in a different direction. I called to let them know and they were very professional and stated if what I was looking for came in they would let me know.

Guy I dealt with had a bad attitude. Car salesmen have a problem with compromising. It makes no sense at all. A sale is a sale. They should be open to any offer they receive and willing to negotiate.

It was worth the drive. I dealt with Mr. Taylor Smith who was super nice, very polite and not pushy at all. I ended up buying the car. There were some issues with the headlights but Taylor made sure everything was corrected and working before I took the car home. Very pleasant experience. Its a long drive for me, but I would go back again should I need another car.

My experience was, as shown by the rating,
pretty terrible. I initially spoke with a salesman via
e-mail named Ricky about a 2013 Nissan Titan. I
advised that I lived over 2 hours away and
wanted to speak see where they were on price
(27,700). He was perfectly nice to talk to and I
responded with a counter offer to start
negotiations at 23k, which is where many similar
trucks were listed on CarGurus, however, I
wanted the black on black trim this particular
Titan had. I also noted to Ricky that the truck had
been there nearly 4 months. Shanon responded
by knocking $200 off the price they had the truck
listed at, that my location was irrelevent to her
and that hopefully I was interested and if not then
good luck with my search. Not the kind of people
I want to work with and definitely not a
professional response. You couldn't give me that
truck for free now, best of luck.

The dealership contacted me almost immediately. The sales person was
respectful and did a good job of placing me in contact with the Sales
Manager when questions I had could not be directly answered. They
have the ability to ship vehicles very reasonably to your home if you are
doing out of state transactions. I highly recommend considering Baker
Chevrolet.

I spoke with a salesman named Taylor about trading in my mint condition
sliver 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins with only a 110,000 miles, 6" lift,
new 22x14 Fuel Maverick Rims wrapped in 37x13.50x22 Toyo MT's, new
Iron Bull bumper, Edge Tuner, 5" exhaust plus many more up grades. That I
had just bought and financed 6 months ago. He was not willing to work with
me and my truck. So I found a dealership that would. I don't think Mr. Taylor
knew anything about the 5.9 Cummins.

Well a couple of things.... It drives me nuts when a business gives an option to email and then all they do is call you and tell you to call them. Why have an option to email questions if all they do is tell you to call them - why not just tell you "call us" we won't respond to email... But that is not just this business. Also when we finally did connect by phone on Friday - they said they would check on the trade in for my vehicle and get back to me that afternoon - never heard back from them.

I contacted Baker about an Avalanche listed in their inventory. Less than an
hour later we had agreed on the price and I picked the vehicle up next day. It
was in excellent condition and Taylor was a very pleasant and helpful salesman.

Could never ask for better dealership. Our sales associate, Taylor Smith, is personable, professional , and knowledgeable. All of the staff at Baker were pleasant and greeted us as 'old friends'. Yes, and we did get a good deal and purchased exactly what we were looking for - Yukon XL. Would go back for trade and would recommend without hesitation.
