Bait and switch. They put low prices to bait you, then when you arrive they raise prices extremely high and get very rude about it. They are aggressive and act like you can’t go anywhere else and buy a car.

Beware of deceptive pricing. They advertise a low price online to get you in the door, but then force you to pay $2,500+ in hidden fees for mandatory 'anti-theft' add-ons once you sit down. Classic bait-and-switch. Do not trust their advertised prices, save your time.

More than 50% of negative ( 1 star ) reviews is a
BIG red warning sign..
They use a bait and switch system by manipulating
the prices.
The price of the car I was interested increased by
$3200 by the time I got to see the car.
I drove 2 hours for nothing.
All cars are listed 2 to 3 thousand dollars lower than
the actual sale price.
Once you show up, the salesman changes the
price.
Sales agent actual said to me: “Do you really think
we would sell a car at that price?,” he continued,
“that’s just to get you in.”
TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Worst dealership ever. Was told could finance so I flew from SFO to LAX . Was told it was available but was not there. My Son and I had to go to a hotel rather than driving back. The Mercedes is still listed for sale.

Worst car shopping experience of my life. Name all the things a dealership can do wrong. This one did them all. Rude staff? Bait and switch tactics? Desired car not actually on the lot? This dealership is guilty of all that and more. Their worst offense is I confirmed with a salesperson via email that the car I wanted was still available. Yet when I showed up, it wasn't there!
I made the mistake of checking their reviews after the fact. My horrible experience matches almost every other bad review I read. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Pure trash, as is their staff.

The dealership was a total dump. The staff din't know how to sell a car. Your don't start hasseling over price before you even inspect the car. The worst was they added a $2500 add-on for a gps system (which is normally $500 at most) that a MB doesn't need because it has a factory installed satellite. They said they do that regardless. And all of this took place in an office with rain coming in the window where we were seated and didn't even close the window. All this occurred before they even showed us the car. There was no ounce of professionalism, so we just walked out. This was the worst experience ever. One would have to be crazy to do business with the rip off establishment.

Waste of time. A hidden fee the vehicle was $2500 higher than the listed price. The vehicle pics were not accurate to what we seen in person.

0 stars! We drove 2 hours to go look at a car priced close to $2,000 only to be told it’s $12,000! This place has a payment calculator where you enter your credit score and you can see what your payments are, only to be told that is not how it works. There was additional fees and even after offering to pay cash, we were told by the manager there would still be an additional fee of $2,000. The manager blamed it on the person that made our appointment to test drive the car. Worst car lot I’ve ever been to! False advertisement all the way around! Do not waste your time here.

Saw the car online, called them to confirm the car was available. Is I was assured, the car wasn’t available. I scheduled a test drive as I was 10 minutes away from the place.
When I got to the dealership and said about my appointment, the guy told me they were a little busy and the car was already sold a few days ago, but I can go and check out other cars.
The car I was interested in is still available on their website and CarGurus.
Save your time and don’t ever trust this company.

Do your research (look for their reviews on Yelp). Also read the fine print. Wanted to get
this wagon and pay cash but could not get them to confirm an out-the-door price. Turns
out I had to pay extra for Lojack which I didn't want (in fairness, their actual website
disclaimer has that requirement in UPPER CASE)... but bundling an overpriced product
the price of the car is sketchy at best.

Would rate 0 stars if possible!!! Horrible experience. This dealer tried to pull one over me. My SO called and got all the details and talked numbers, was told would proceed match. Made the appointment to be there in person and was told that all those numbers were a lie. The price told at the dealership was an additional $3000 than what the car was advertised for!!!! That wasn’t including the sales tax and title, etc. The man there was so unprofessional, stuck up and rude. I assume he was the manager. Wasted my time and for what? To be told to go “look” at the car but not be able to test drive?!! Also, didn’t even walk me to the lot just said it was down 2 blocks if I wanted to look at the car. What SERVICE!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called the day before to make sure it was still there. It was. I called the next
morning when I got up to double check, yes, it was still available. Then I called when I was on my way to buy
it. I live 28 miles away from the dealership. So actual time from the freeway traffic was over an hour and a
half. When I got to the dealership, I found out the van was sold 3 DAYS earlier !! I was beyond pissed
off.Then the floor manager wanted to find out of there was a different type of car I would want.
I that isnt the definition of bait and switch, I don't know what is. I would never buy anything from them.

I read the reviews before coming in here thinking it wouldn’t happen to me but I did in fact get lied to and told they still had the car on the lot, when they didn’t. Office smelled of cigs and weed too. If you live far from here DONT bother coming. I took the risk because it was only a 15min drive from me

Cars are not as they appear in picture. When you ask the dealer the price of the car you are quoted a price way more then advertised. This car is advertised for $12,000 was quoted $17,000 or $18,000. Do not go there!!?

It was an overall horrible experience. They called me 4-5 times to mae sure I was going to the appointment. We
drove 3.5 hours south to go look at this vehicle. Never once did they say that the car had structural damage
and that no financing would be available for that vehicle. Cash only at that point. I asked why they didn't
disclose that information and he replied with, "Well did you check the carfax?" I told him that CarGurus showed
0 accidents and thats what we were going off of. His reply was a sarcastic sorry. They didn't even offer another
vehicle to try to sell. Very unprofessional and could care less about selling a car. Don't ever go to this place
please! Save yourself the drama and hassle.

Called Car World this morning and took an appointment to test the car, drove 2hrs and when I reached they told me that the car was sold already, although I texted on my to mention Im arriving late and they texted back saying see you here!
They didn’t even bother to suggest an alternative. Very disrespectful and rude
This place is a total scam full of swindlers. I make an appointment and when I show up and there's no one there to greet me, just a bunch of people running round and I had no idea who worked there. The person I made the appointment with was not there and I had to talk to 3 people before someone took me to a filthy office with holes in the padding in their
dirty food stained chairs. And then they have the nerve to spend the entire time on the phone, then when I get up to walk away they immediately hang up the phone run after me and start trying to haggle prices before I even have a chance to look at a car. The car I came to look at was listed as $5000 but When I tell him I want to see it he tells me the car is $13000 and that the advertised price doesn't matter. Needless to say, I immediately walked out. Please don't go there they are complete grifters.

I was waiting on the phone and they said they were open for over 40 years and it did not seem like it how they were speaking. I shouldn’t be surprised as it’s a 2.7 star as i’m speaking. 9/6/24. To the person who answer, the person for sales she directed me too and the male who can actually give the price of the car. Sounded like older dude so don’t go expecting nothing.
Being pre-qualified and having a clear idea of what I wanted before visiting
certainly helped. It is evident that they are more experienced in assisting
customers with less-than-ideal credit, so if you can deal with the lack of a
few dealership perks, youâll have an overall enjoyable and efficient
experience like myself.

Horrible! They lied about the car being available. I looked at another vehicle and they would not let me test drive it only to finance it and buy it. The people who answer the phone are rude when they transfer you the people who answer are rude and when you go there, they are rude. I would advise everyone to steer clear away from this dealership.

They were nice but the $1,995 lojack fee added to the advertised price is a rip off. Especially since I was going to pay cash for the car.
Be careful, don't go, don't deal with them, it is the worst service I have ever received,
we made an appointment at 10 am when we arrived they didn't know about the
appointment or who had made it, they sent us to another lot where they said the car
was, but It is closed, there was no one to attend to you,
They didn't even have the car that they advertised and that we were looking for (which
still appears here on Car Gurus), after waiting half an hour we returned to the other lot,
and they told us that if we wanted to complain we would have to call the same number
where we had made the appointment because they were not the same business, which
means that the phone number that appears on car gurus is not theirs. Be careful, they
are a lie.
Terrible experience! Don't spend you time, trust me you don't want to own car from this
dealership! I have been in this dealership twice, the first time i came without call and they
told me car sold, after one day i see car still selling on different web sites. I fill the form
about connecting to this dealer and they inform me a car still available. I asked twice to
check and they told me yes please come. I came again 1.5 hour drive and geas what? Car
unavailable because body work or mileage wrong, they don't know exactly what!

Worst experience at a car dealership. Very
shady, avoid at all costs. Tried to sell me a car
10k over advertised price when i arrived in
person. Bulletholes and cigarette smoke riddle
the office. Just save the hassle and time and

You will waste your time. I did have an appointment to see the car. I arrived few minutes late. But
honestly the car lot it is like going back in time 20 years ago.
One of the salesmen told me to look at the car and someone will come to me. The car was quite
dirty, I look under the car, the car was leaking oil.
But since there was several cars, I was interested in, I waited. Finally, someone come to me, and
look at the car I was interested and told me, with any interest to show me the car. That all the cars
come with $2000+ additional cost (GPS + something else). I was mad since I was driving from far
away, and on the phone I did request for the out of the door price. The conversation last 5min, for
3hrs drive time.
Make yourself a favor donât even consider going there , look at all the negative review it is quite
accurate.
The initial sales reps could not provide a breakdown of how they arrived at the price for the car we were interested in and said they don't have it and can't provide it. Since we insisted (because this is something all used car dealerships provide), the sales guy kicked us over to the district finance manager, who still didn't provide us with the breakdown we asked for, but inflated the cost by $3000 for a warranty and theft protection we didn'task for. If we wanted these removed, it would take 3 weeks, and if someone came in and wanted the car while we were waiting, they would sell the car to the other person instead. Swell business ethic, right? On top of that, the finance manager states that certain fees were non-negotiable in the state of California when they actually are and proceeded to insult me by assuming I don't have $5k laying around to replace an engine if it blows since I didn't want the warranty. If you are desperate and in need of a car, don't come to this dealership.

Refused to send a picture since none in listing and insisted I drive across town for an hour just to get a look at car. Contacted by several people who tried same thing. Looks like a bait-n-switch sales tactic. I explained that a simple camera phone picture would work but they told me the car was "at a different location". Im glad I didn't do business with them and can't imagine i will in the future. My hunch is if its that difficult to just see how it looks, it'll be more difficult to negotiate a deal and impossible to come back if there's a problem.

Deal was set. A total buy out. No financing or any other equation! Just buying the vehicle right out at advertised price plus an extra $2000 above advertised price for some lousr GPS that costed the deal $90.00 to install! Although not needed in this case, I accepted! Word of trust and honor were spoken and given! We shook hands. And I was to pick up said Vehicle 2 days later after some issues were fixed! A day before pick up of said Vehicle, I called in to set time for pickup! I was told that deal has changed and I needed to fork another $2000 financed. This bait and switch iwas unnecessary but I guess common with this dealership. So I let the deal go. I use to myself work selling cars. We were the # 1 dealership in CALIFORNIA for a few simple reasons and those iare the Virtue of word of honor and integrity. When we shook hands with the a customer we would go through with the deal, regardless. Even when we thought we deserved more money! But with these guys.. beware.

I would definitely not recommend coming down to the dealership unless you’re wanting a car that has been repoed or been in an accident. I had looked at a car online and I drove two hours to go look at it and it was nothing like the pictures and claimed it was in zero accidents and yet both bumpers are falling off and the car wouldn’t even start. They had also claimed that I had to pay $2000 for a GPS that they would not take out even if I didn’t want it because they wanted to track my vehicle in case “I didn’t make my payments”. Overall I’d say don’t go down there unless you wanna be given very bad customer service or a complete waste of time.

I would give zero if possible. I called make sure the vehicle and fixed and appointment. After driving for an hour and went there, they say car, not 1, 2 cars not available.
Note: they say all the vehicles are $2000 more then it’s in website as they have installed a GPS device and cannot uninstall.
Suggestion: please avoid.

I would give less than one star if I could. I called in advance to make
sure the car I was interested in was still available and was assured it
was. After spending $20+ on a Lyft, I arrived to be informed that the
car was the week beforehand and they tried to push me on to cars
that were $5000 more than the price of the car I was interested in.
When I told them that was out of my price range, the guy informed me
that the listed price of $9,999 wasn't the actual price of the car and
that after taxes, financing, and some weird gps fee that it would've
been more in the $15,000 range. Don't waste your time or money on
going to this dealership - there are much better and friendlier places
in Los Angeles.
P.S. None of the workers were wearing masks so don't risk your
health either.

lost interest when I told him that I have good
credit. He then explained that whatever deal
I arrived at, I would be required to pay an
additional mandatory $1900 for the carâs
GPS unit (?!?!). At best, itâs dishonest to list
a car at a price $2k below what they will
charge you (outside of taxes, etc.), and itâs
disrespectful to not share this information in
subsequent communications - knowing this
at the outset would have saved me hours of
time on my only day off. At worst, this
business is engaging in predatory practices
by luring folks with bad credit and then
repossessing the cars as soon as possible.
Whatever their grift is, itâs not worth your
time or money.

I don’t recommend this dealer. They charge an additional $2000 dollars on top of taxes and fees for gps tracking even if you pay off the vehicle in cash. All five cars they advertised I was interested in were all sold.
They are swindlers! They don't stay true to their adds, once you call them, the price from the add goes up higher. I'm buying the car straight
out with no financing and they told me, I needed to purchase a $1995 tracking device, why should I?? why should they care where my car is

Never go there again...the charge 1999.00 extra on every car for lo-jack wether you want it or not, bad policy and LoJack only cost about 300.00 installed the rest is additional profit for them...plus when I called they told me the car I was looking at was there at 9:00AM and got there at 11:00 AM and they told me car was sold and yet for a days after the car still appeared on there web site...

The customer service of the receptionist was horrendous! She was brief and didn't say hello which was off putting. The second time I called back I was hung up on and
when I called back right after she transferred me very quickly with the same attitude. I spoke with a salesmen who was short, fast, quick to the point, and everything that
was listed on the website was sold so they didn't have anything listed on the website. He offered me stock numbers of other cars but with no real insight. It was within the
last hour of closing so maybe that's why the service seemed to be within a hurry. This occurred January 2nd, Saturday around 6:50 pm to 7:10 pm. I will NOT refer anyone to
this place.
I called to make enquiry about this car, the person I spoke with was extremely RUDE and dropped the phone on me. Also, they are not truthful, they had a particular red RX 350, year 2010 on their site for sale for the past 3 months. And they don't have it anymore. My friend confirmed to me that she also made enquiry of the same Red 2010 RX 350 on their site 3 months ago. And they don't have it available. But the left the car on their site as available.
Also, they sent me an email that they have 0 %APR. When I called, there was nothing of such.
If you want peace of mind, they are the wrong company to visit. I am not buying from carworld anymore

We went to go see this 2005 porsche cayeen that had 79k. Pictures make it look like a cream puff. I called the dealer to go see it and they had it. Told them it would take me 2 hours to get there. When i show up i spoke to the lady who answered the phone and she gave me to her manager. He says oohhh that one is no longer for sLe cause it needs to much work and is going to send it to auction. Then he says oh are younpaying cash or finance? I asked why? He said he could sell it to me for 3000 less for cash. So from 7995 to 4995. But inthought it needed to much work. Then the song and dance started. I told him i would go and look at it. What you dont see is the car was all keyed up and it was repainted but the quaility was very poor. He told me he is going to send it to auction ifni dont buy it. Well it has been on car gurus for another 2 weeks and still is being offered for sale. Dont waist your time these cars are all junk.

Worst experience of my life....
I asked if he could send me a picture of the car since one wasn't posted. He sends me a great picture. The car is shining like it just got washed. No damage that I could see. So I asked if I could get an appointment to test drive it. That was on a Friday. He text me back on Monday and explains he had a emergency to deal with and is back in the office. And explained if I could come Tuesday his boss would be there and would be able to get me a great deal. So I arranged to come down. Mind you I'm 3 hour drive to get there. And I explained my drive was long.
I text him on 3 different times during our drive to let him know we were getting close. When we arrive he wasn't at the carlot he had stepped out so I proceed to look for the car I was there to see. After searching with no luck I asked another sales person to find it. We found it in the back of the lot totally covered in dirt looked like it was about to be stripped for parts. I matched the VIN numbers

Everyone there was friendly, polite, and helpful. They invested time and effort to come up with a suitable car that met her requirements. Gave my information to lilly to have an estimate only just to be put on hold until the next day because the banks were supposedly closed on sundays. She promised to call me in the morning, No calls were made I had to call the dealership a couple times just to see what was going on, She finally returns my phone call, told me what my monthly payments would look like Just to tell me at the end of her explanation that the vehicle was sold, so whatever she explained to me wouldn't even be relevant. Very disappointed and Very unprofessional.
