Sorry for the brutal honesty. When people are looking for very inexpensive vehicles and ask will is last the answer is always unknown. These are used cars and the real history on how the previous person owner took care of it does not get passed on to us. Some also think if the battery is weak from sitting on the lot, that the vehicle is bad which isn't the case. Just like a cell phone battery that goes bad, doesn't mean the cell phone is bad. Just a suggestion; you might ask what vehicles the dealer thinks have the best reputation based on make/model/age/milage and care if known.

Total scam car had check engine lights turned off or fake smog transmission problem and he tried to play dumb like he don't know what's going on Total garbage drove a total of 3 hours for 6 minutes of looking at the car with check engine lights transmission bad and overpriced

Sorry the car didn't work out for you. All cars go through and pass Smog and Safety. In addition, all customers are required to take a test drive to make sure the car is performing as they expect 15-20 Minutes.

Not trying to dog these people but I specifically asked to discuss financing for a couple vehicles I found there and they really talked me down because I didn't have any credit even though the vehicle was only 3200 they were insistent that I come up with about 2500 to 3,000 to buy it my payments which the whole reason was for me to get a cheap vehicle temporarily to keep me going for the next two months while I finish a job I'm doing but they seemed unwilling to even try and run my credit even any further I have no established credit so they found that to be a problem right from the get-go so even though they had nice vehicles they didn't seem very friendly to me or very willing to go the extra mile you know to help somebody in my shoes with no credit and no down payment

CJ Auto Sales does not do In-House Financing. The local financial institutions that we work with do not do NO SCORE loans. This changed when inflation started, so no additional funds can overcome the no score issue. So rather than spend time running credit and putting inquiries on their credit profile, we just let them know up front. But we do let them know the lender we used in case they want to talk with them to come up with a solution, like a co-sign deal.

CJ auto sales made the car buying experience super easy. They responded to my inquiry same day. When I arrived to the dealership I was attended to immediately and treated very nicely. The whole experience from the test drive to the paperwork was flawless. Won’t be in the market for a vehicle anytime soon but if you are looking, give CJ auto sales a look.

Excellent purchasing experience with Ed. Prompt email reply. Held the car for me to make the 2 hour drive to see it. No rush, no pressure during vehicle inspection. 15 minute test drive was adequate to verify car function. Vehicle was well detailed, clean inside and out, and at a attractive cash price. Appreciated the excellent customer service start to finish.

A good friend of mine has bought from this dealer and when I realized that I had saved multiple options from here I asked him to take me.
Both of the guys were really kind and answered all my questions, while I was buying the car I'm currently 9 months pregnant so there was little I could do! My friend handled a lot of the mechanical info but I was always included in the explanations and they directed the conversation at me. I felt comfortable, appreciated, and while I ended up getting a different car than I came for I'm incredibly happy with the car I left with. Thanks guys!

I believe your request was for the out the door price which requires your address to verify tax rate. As to pictures our Web person only works a few times a week, so the response isn't always instant. I typically respond with call me I might be able to answer the question you are trying to get with the pictures. Basically a human walk around.

Did receive a call back from the dealership and we had
quite a chat. He was also honest enough to let me know
that there was a minor issue with the vehicle that I liked.
I'd asked him if he could have the necessary repairs
completed before the sale and to send me a some
photos of the engine. He never got back to me. As such,
I'm currently exploring my options.

Salesman was very kind. However the car did have maintenance required light on and tire pressure alert thats why i did not purchase. Minutes after i left i was notified he had turned those lights off but he didn’t know when last maintenance was done on the car which made me think they don’t service their vehicles

Thanks for the review. As I said on these inexpensive vehicle we do not do any regular maintenance unless is is neccessary. The maintenance light on is the oil change light, and since I don't know when it was change I keep it on. A simple push of a button turns off and alot of oil change places do no reset. Flat Tire Monitoring service uses batteries in the valve stems to determine air pressure, and they last about 4-7 years. We do not service these as it adds expense to the price of a vehicle. :( ... Inspection are done by a third party and then verified by us. Unfortunately with used merchandise sometimes things fail just do to it being their time. Some things you just can't see. Like always we hope your purchase will last a very long time.
Brandi, the woman who worked at the lot, was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and honest. There was no BS...it
was very straightforward. The truck was exactly as listed, very clean. Brandi allowed me to take a long test drive,
letting me check the acceleration, the brakes, run through the gears, test the 4 wheel drive, and try the electronics.
She was very accommodating, and ran through all the contracts with me thoroughly. I would highly recommend CJ
Auto Sales to anyone looking for a truck, which are their specialty.

Sorry for the confusion, BUT the pre-approval for Westlake deals through CarGurus doesn't actually work correctly. This is not a CJ Auto Sales program!!! For example is shows payment below $200.00 which Westlake will not approve. The TRUE Westlake program is much more sophisticated and requires the exact vehicle with all options etc., and a full Westlake credit profile. Thus why I asked for extra information before going forward so we don't waste both your time and mine. Don't want to DING CarGurus here, but I would rather not have this option in play.

We stopped in at the car dealership and found the truck we were looking for, the girl helped us find the key and told us we could go ahead and start the truck and hear it run ,she was very helpful. We went out to start the truck and the battery was dead so we didn't get to hear it run. We were very interested but didn't have the time to wait for someone to jump start the vehicle. That really to bad,but she was very helpful.

People that look at vehicle tend to push lots of buttons and sometimes things get left on and we don't know until the next time we get to the vehicle. We do keep a jump box on hand so we can just make a quick trip to the office and get the vehicle running. Hopefully we will catch you the next time through. I called the dealership to obtain more pictures and a video of the vehicle - due to the fact that I was a potential buying from out-of-state. This request was honored in a timely manner. I have not made the purchase - just yet- because of the high cost of transportation to Massachusetts from California. Good people though.

Hmmm... Not sure who this customer is. We have had no reports of any mechanical issues being reported in a very long time. ALL persons purchasing a vehicle our encouraged to test drive 1st, and under NO circumstances is a person denied a test drive, busy or not. Even people with no Drivers License get a drive with one of us at the wheel. With all of that said, we sell budget used cars and even with our best efforts some cars will just have an issue. :(

Wow... Sorry for the deal falling apart. We are very upfront about a person getting financing, and all stipulation are disclosed up front. Sometimes a customer wants to change the deal after a bank has approved at a specific down payment amount. Unfortunately this rarely works. If the actually amount of down payment that the customer actually had in hand was disclosed up front we may have been able to work with a different lender or vehicle to accomplish a successful auto loan. Not terribly impressed with this dealer; we walked onto the lot, but nobody approached us or greeted us. We eventually found the vehicle we were looking for, but it was buried behind about 5 other vehicles (which the dealer would've had to move if we wanted to test-drive it); we also discovered the reason for the incredibly low price (almost half that of other C-Max's): this particular vehicle had obviously sustained some minor body damage, as there were body panels that didn't meet, and warped sheet metal. Needless to say, we passed on this vehicle.

Sorry for your experience. We are a small dealer with a small lot, so YES the cars are packed in to allow as much inventory as possible. On certain days there is only one person on duty and if they are working with another customer, unfortunately sometimes you have to wait. BUT the wait is worth it for the prices. Not sure on the condition you saw, as the vehicle was purchased by a Lift/Uber driver and there can't be any meaningful damage and still be used for that purpose. Check us out in a year or so once we expanded , and we should have plenty of space around each vehicle.

was alone on his day off. He is a trooper! It's
been 3 weeks now and I'm happy with my
purchase! Still waiting for 2nd set of keys,
registration, license plates and pink slip.

For the price point this is a pretty good dealership. Very upfront about their business model. The cars are bought and placed on the lot. No maintenance or inspections completed. But their prices are fair and there is always a risk when buying a used car. I appreciated their honesty. We bought a crv with 144k miles and are very pleased.
