They were very helpful, fast communication, Cody sent me a full walk around video. I flew into Colorado Springs and they had someone pick me up at the airport and take me to the dealership. I ended up buying the car and drove it 500+ miles home with no problems.

I would rank it with -1 if possible. Very bad experience with dealing with this dealer. We agreed with their sales representatives to buy car online and got their confirmation but after 2 hours they told me the car has been sold to different people. So be careful when dealing with them.

Not impressed with this dealership at all. They knew the car had a battery problem when
they took it to be detailed, in fact they even told us when we pulled up that they were
having battery issues and needed to replace the battery and make sure it didn't need
further diagnostic. We loaded the car up on our trailer and waited. After 2.5 hrs of sitting at
the dealership they did absolutely nothing at all with the battery. The battery ended up
dying and locking us out of the car because of the electric door handles. The dealer than
told us they would buy a new battery and install it. They got the battery but then told us
they did not have time to install the battery. So basically, we bought a $40,000 car that we
couldn't start and was stuck on our trailer. We had to crawl through the hatch back to get
the doors open to install the battery. I would never go here again; all they did was lie to us
over and over. Terrible....

Respond quickly .., very friendly when I actually visited ... her very very kind when I was heartbroken because I love Mazda six but I’m just under 4 foot 11 and what they’ve done with the head rest make it impossible for me to use the car never saw/felt anything like it!! Sales and were very honest the master has manufactured a different type of head rest I suspect it’s good for taller people to prevent whiplash but my goodness the top of the head rest hit the roof inside the car I tried everything and they were very nice to try to accommodate me we all agreed it was not Posssble..,And I do think it’s extremely important that I could leave with at least feeling extremely good about the way I was treated ... although heart broken there was no way I can accommodate most is the sign and believe me there was I would’ve done it .

William and Bryn were great to work with! Just may purchase this vehicle due to service alone
Terrible experience, will not be returning. Employee didn’t show up for test drive appt, i had to wait 20-30 mins to be helped by someone else. Ran my credit for no reason, i didn’t commit to buy and was still trying to work out a deal. Which they’re really bad at doing. The deal in the end was not a good one and i decided to walk away! Will be purchasing a vehicle elsewhere.
Very professional. Cody took really great care of us and didn't pressure or
make it a hassle to buy our car. He contacted me via my preferred source
and didn't make it feel as if he was in a rush to get a deal done. The prices
were as advertised and honored any prices I received from other sources
(USAA member) without hesitation. I arrived an hour late to our
appointment, but Cody had the car out front ready for us to look at,
pointing out a couple small issues he found before we got there. All the
staff there treated us with respect and stayed a half hour after closing to
finish our deal. We love our new vehicle and the service we were provided
and definitely look forward to working with Cody and Bob Penkhus Volvo in
the future!

Bait and switch. In the midst of working out the deal the vehicle was sold out from under me. To boot, I worked through KBB for an instant cash offer on my trade, which was how I connected with them. They did not honor the KBB deal. Just an all around bad experience.

It was a good buying experience.
Several salespersons responded at different times to our inquiries
about a vehicle which had just come in as a trade-in, had not been
priced nor photographed. We had obtained the carfax on our own,
which this dealer does not provide, & drove four hours to take it for
a pre-purchase inspection, which it passed with flying colors. So
we weren't in a great bargaining position. We were well treated
throughout the process, worked with salesman Jeff Huston, settled
on a price which was discounted enough from the stated price to
cover the additional "dealer handling fee" and a bit more.

I still have not bought a car, but would definitely work with this dealership. The main issue I have is they are nearly 1,300 miles from my home, which raises my overall cost because of shipping.

I had to back out on this deal because of a personal development in my life, even though it's a truck I really want, still. The only real criticism that I have is that once I had met with the sales department, and wanted to go ahead with the deal, they seemed really unconcerned about getting back in touch with me. Otherwise, it's a good dealership, with a very good reputation. I knew one of their former head salesmen and his wife. If I could, I would still go back and buy this truck from them.

It was an overall disappointing process as after a 1.5 hour drive, they were
not willing to do much for us. There was not a lot of attention paid to "used"
car shoppers. I found the car to be represented well, but the service felt
unnatural and awkward.

Dealer was real confident about himself
he kept on boasting how the dealership
sells 500 cars per month no matter if I
buy the truck he showed me or not. I
don't think he was into giving me a deal
on the truck, in which the truck was a
total junk! The truck was a total mess and
they still wanted a substantial price for it.
Little does the overconfident seller know I
kept track of that truck for 3 three
months with the price dropping over the
time. Then he pulls up a different truck to
sway my attention to it and gives me a
price on it which I felt was overpriced, I
will also keep track of it thanks to
CarGurus. Which they have overpriced
also.

I only talked to a rep on the phone. He was direct as to "not
waste time," but was very condescending.

It was a Saturday morning, so the sales staff were swamped with potential customers. I guess I should have made an appointment. Happily, I found the car myself (a car that had caught my eye on CarGurus) with just a quick drive through the used cars section. I was delighted to find the car unlocked and I went ahead and opened the doors, folded down the seats, sat in the driver's seat, etc. Ultimately, I didn't need a salesman because it was to small for what I need.

Great to work with, no high pressure to purchase. Able to take the SUV we wanted on an extended test drive without any problem. Unfortunately, we did not purchase from Bob Penkhus because we went with a different model of SUV that Bob Penkhus did not have on there lot. Otherwise, I would have purchased an SUV from them. Would definitely recommend Bob Penkhus as a dealer to purchase a automobile from.

Hernandez. He was very nice and
personable. He showed us both
cars we were interested in and
did not try to show us something
else or upsell us into a car we
could not afford. The price on the
car was a "no haggle" price and
we were happy not to haggle. We
bought the Red Ford Fusion and
we love it. Thanks Ernesto for

They had a infiniti g37x that i was
interested in. They car itself was not
cleaned properly, paint needed buffing
and paint work, interior tears, rips. Rims
damaged. Headliner was black from dirt,
supposed to be tan. It drove amazing so
i was willing to over look the bad quality
of detailing. So moving on, I explained to
them not to finance me through ent or
security service. What do they do? Try to
finance me through ent and security
service. They also use auto trader to
determine the worth of your car. Which
is bull. Nada says my car is worth 8
grand (nada is the most commonly used
dealship trade in value assessment).
They tried to offer me 5 grand. That
would put me in the hole by 3+grand.
Red flag. Although i loved the car, and
their matience plan is great, i still did not
appreciate them not listening to me as a
customer. I had to wait long periods of
time to get answers. It was almost
impossible to speak to any finance
manager, instead they use the middle
man tactic where the salesman is forced
to go back and forth. Being in the
dealership business myself, you can
have a deal done in a half hour. If they
make you wait longer, its a tactic to
make you inpatient and agree to
anything. I waited 3 hours. I had always
heard bad things about bob penkus. And
now i understand why.. I left and will not
come back!

Made an appointment showed up 30 minutes early and they sold car 10 minutes before... I know nature of the business however they emailed instead of calling. We drove an hour to get there! So nobody buys just one.. how about none we bought elsewhere

Salesman was trying to help up to 3 customers at once. I did not get the personal service I normally get when buying a vehicle. The car was what I wanted, but will not go back to them after the service I got. My contact was with one salesman, then passed onto another who was trying to help too many people.

They were terrible. Rude and lied about prices and DID NOT
mention that the car had hail damage. Just a terrible dealer. I
drove from denver based on lies and faulse hope - they ran my
credit over the phone to give me a good monthly payment and
when I got down there it was a whole other story, they didn't even
run my credit. Not worth the drive!

Misrepresented the actual miles
on car - even on the car's
paperwork. When confronted
about it, they said "oops" and
didn't offer any kind of flexibility
on the offer or any perk. They
gave us our money back and
showed us the door. Poor
customer service and inaccurate
advertising.

Drove down to Colorado Spring to look at the Tahoe they had
listed for sale. Parker right in front of the building with the sales-
person watch us right out the window. Because it was a little cold
and windy, the sales-person never walked outside to talk with us.
We were the only customers walking around the lot, no one ever
talked with us...We left after about 15 minutes..hope the sale-
person enjoy his cup of coffee.. we purchased a Tahoe from
another dealer

My husband amd I drove to Co. SPGS
from North Denver. He had an
appointment with Bill or Bob for a test
drive. Once we got there he said he had
bad news... he folowed to say that the
vehicle we drove to see had been sold 5
minutes ago. I was pretty disappointend
since he had schedule the appointment
and the sales guys didnt bother to call
us and let us know. Spoke with the
manager, but neither the sales guy or
the manager simmed to care.

I bought a used 2012 Nissan Altima from this dealership and the employees were great and helped take care of me. This was the first car I bought so they were really patient when I was taking my time to make decisions.

The Toyota Tacoma had a lift and over-sized tires, but it was not
posted on the ad. We drove over two hours to find out the tires
were rubbing on the suspension. Not as advertised.
