Had an appointment to drive a specific car the car was sold the day before my apt. And I had to reach out after they wanted to confirm my apt. To ask if the car was still available and it was then said it had been sold.

Dealer did respond but I decided on a newer model

Was extremely interested in this truck and Hank Williams never responded back to me after a few messages back and ford through call phone. I tried to touch base again twice and got no response.

Dealer responded quickly and was courteous in emails about information for vehicle. Price wasn’t what I was looking for, but wasn’t pushy about it and understood.

SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES...STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! I contacted them re: the Mini. Talked to a salesman named Kareem. Told him I was interested and lived 1/ 1/2 hours away but wanted to see it. He told me he would have it all ready. We drive to the address listed at CarGurus. Not there!!! Call Kareem and he says, oh that's the old address. Turns out we are 10 minutes away. OK...ya coulda told me the address right??? NP, we drive the 10 minutes to the dealer, ask for Kareem and he comes out and tells me the car is our for a test drive!!! WHAAAT???? I spoke to you 10 minutes ago!!!! I go and talk to the manager, and he gives me a line - there is no deposit and these people pulled up and wanted to see it!!! Wait around for 15 minutes then they tell us the car did not start, so they are doing diagnostics!!! Uh...you don't do that for a dead battery!!! Show us car in the bay, hooked up to diagnosis, yup...so it's more than a battery and this other guy is still waiting!!!

Sal contacted me the next morning, the Bronco I was looking for had just arrived and we were able to make a deal and they are having my new Bronco delivered all the way to Nashville, Tn. Thank you Sal for all your help!!!!!

I showed up to see the car at the appointed time and was rudely greeted by the salesman, and told that the car had been sold the day before. I had contacted the dealer about availability at 1:45 on 9/24 and drove 1 1/2 hours to the dealership with my trade and my checkbook in hand. A complete waste of my time and I value my time, taking off from my work to potentially purchase this car, and to be treated as if I was stupid for not calling the salesman before was completely unjustified. The vehicle is still listed for sale and available on Carfax three days after it was "sold".... Too bad there is not a way to rate with negative 5 stars.

I Wanted to know a price on this car that was not listed. Was ridiculous , He said he didn't really want to sell it , but for that price he would. No use for a dealer like that.

Dealer communication was slow & often inaccurate. Listing accuracy was terrible, car was listed well before it was fully evaluated & resulted in price being raised after problems were found. The condition of the vehicle was never really known by dealer in their haste to "Flip" vehicle. Car was very dirty & even after asked to do so, it never got cleaned. I would not ever recommend the dealership to anyone I know.

Vehicles was SOLD two days prior. The sales staff scheduled me an appointment to come in and give the van a test drive. Drove an hour to dealership after waiting nearly 20 minutes at front kiosk To be acknowledged I was able to grab a salesman. He returned to tell me the Van SOLD two days prior. Big disconnect between showroom sales and internet sales. Pure waste of my time . Really disappointed in Berkeley FORD.

Went there but wanted more down but made a deal on a 2021. We didn’t want after signing papers but was told no cool down periods so gave us a 2015 Passat. Took it cause couldn’t get my deposit back.

Terrible. Fake pictures of truck. I drove 5 hrs and spent night at hotel to fit this in my schedule. They said 20” tires. No way. They were 18”. They showed a black truck in picture. No way. It was Arizona (light) brown. Said car had been detailed. Nope. It wasn’t even vacuumed out. Part of dashboard was not secure. I would not buy from this dealership or trust them to be honest about the vehicle they were selling. Salesperson was friendly but seemed to be unaware of listing discrepancies

Excellent experience. Thomas in sales was top notch. He took the time to familiarize my son with all of the advanced features of the premium package in Ford mustang. A ton of technology!! Kimme in finance was awesome. No hidden fees,all available buying options were explained with no pressure to purchase. We bought the car from Berkeley Ford after weeks of talking with other dealers all over the eastern US. Incredible from start to finish.

My overall experience with Berkeley Ford was a positive one. To me a car dealer is a car dealer, that being said, the sales staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The whole process of buying our new truck was an enjoyable experience.

My salesman Kareem was great I live in Savannah so of course I couldn't just come see and test drive the vehicle so I had to trusted him and his expertise. I purchased a excellent low well maintained vehicle. Normally if you are buying a used car you get the run around but I got awesome customer service from every one of the staff from the time I drove up and off with my new 2004 Honda CRV.

Dealership contacted me so quick I wonder if they ever had the vehicle I was interested in. The add they posted was for an extended cab truck but the picture was a regular cab. I guess that should have been my first clue it was a fake ad.

I was super happy thought i found the car of my dreams. Did all the necessary paperwork and was told they are detailing the vehicle then got another called n said the vehicle was going to shop to make sure all is well. Mr.. Williams inform me to pick up the car . Saturday. Saturday came as i about to walk out the door i got a call stating they can't sell me the vehicle n they can try to put me in a car. Disappointed can'tl even express how i felt only because i couldn't get an real update on what happened.

We had a good experience overall. After we bought the car and left we noticed it had no spare tire. We called to see about that and never received a phone call back.

They were pushy and overpriced. The car for sale was a 4 cylinder not a v6 but they insisted it was well priced because it had only 11,000 miles but it was a 2015 an older car.I was looking for a model with a v6 engine. They wanted me to come in anyway to check out different cars. I had already done two weeks of research and knew what type of vehicle I was interested in.I knew what I wanted and I was not interested in wasting my time looking at other vehicles especially a ford.I had done my homework.I was not impressed with their methods again.My family has bought from them before and they made promises that they did not keep..just to make the sale but once the papers were signed there was no response on these items.

My rating is actually a negative 5 star, but I had to check one to get my comments in. Numerous phone and email contacts. Appointment set with salesperson. Traveled 2.5 hours one way from another state. Enroute, salesperson emailed me for my eta to them. I wrote 2o minutes. About 2 miles from them, they called and said they sold the truck. We had no chance to even view it. Poor professionalism, poor courteousness and do not care attitude. Make the sale....regardless. And they wonder where they get their reputation? They earn it. Would not deal with this dealership and I hope others I tell and readers of my comments will be leary of dealing with them. Your money, not you the customer come first. Just the facts.

I called and asked them if they had financing available and they told me yes so I went down there and they knew it was not possible for them to finance this vehicle they did not tell me that until they ran my credit and made it drop and then after all that they told me there was nothing they could do

The vehicle we expected to test drive was full of water when we opened up the doors. We found an MKX on the lot that we loved but it was over our budget. We made an offer even though the vehicle was a few thousand dollars overpriced according to NADA. We told the amount we were willing to purchase the MKX for, with or without a trade in, and mentioned even if they went over the trade in value for the car we would need to have some negotiation on the MKX itself. We signed a sheet of paper showing our bottom line out the door price. The manager told us to bring back the car we were looking to trade in. He knew we had to drive a total of an hour and a half to do so. When we returned with the trade in (even though they offered more than we expected) it became apparent that they had us come back knowing they never were planning on budging even a penny on the MKX even though it was clearly overpriced.What a waste of a day! We purchased an upgraded MKX from a different dealer for LESS money.

I have had my eye on this truck since I lost mine in a fire two months prior to contacting the dealer. I had been hesitant during that time trying to concentrate on getting my house rebuilt from said fire. Then I had received an email stating the price for the truck had been dropped a second time and if I didn't react, I would miss the opportunity. The dealer was able to retrieve the truck's owner and maintenance history. The biggest factor in being able to purchase it, was that they were able to arrange financing even for its age. The cherry on top of the deal, they even arranged delivery of the truck to my apartment to keep me from having to hire a tow truck to have it brought here.

Salesman called and worked me thru the vehicle I was interested in and answered all my questions and I eventually did purchase the vehicle.

The sales person told me she would have the truck cleaned and ready to go to Columbia. When I got to the dealership, she had already left for the day. I had to deal with a different sales person. The truck was not cleaned and only had a 1/4 tank of gas. Overall, The transaction was fast and easy.

Sales person very helpful and even though I was unable to come down the same day that we talked, she followed up with me the day before I was coming down to see it. Unfortunately, the vehicle was not able to accommodate my needs. I really like that vehicle, it was a gem you do not see very often.

The car I inquired about was in the shop with engine out. No one told me before I drove an hour to get there after speaking with them in the phone.

Representatives from the dealership called me back promptly. I was put in touch with a sales rep who was friendly and professional and able to answer all my questions. We made arrangements for me to buy the car, and I was very pleased with the business end of the sale. Everyone I worked with at the dealership was professional and considerate. The only negatives I experienced were some dropped communication the day before the sale which caused some confusion about how to pay and took extra time available, which would have been a big help to me.

sales people seemed to be in no rush to get things done, the process took several phone calls and two visits, the second one when i purchased the vehicle took over 5 hours.

I went to the dealership to drive this car. They had failed to plug it in to charge the unit and it had 35 mi left. Salesperson drove the unit in the parking lot. What a test drive. Asked about the price and was told the internet price was the price. Worked with a dealer in NC and purchased a new car 2 days later.

The dealers information on about the vehicle that was posted on your site CarGurus was false. It was stated that the 2015 Ford Explorer was a one owner car and had never been wrecked. (as per carfax) I did my own carfax report and found that the car was used as a rental and that it was involved in a wreck in which it had to be towed. Also said that it was owned by a non smoker?? It was a rental how do they know that. Would never do business with Berkeley ford!!
