Ignored by sales team. Zero professionalism. Salesman was very unfriendly and lacking any enthusiasm or eagerness to sell. Not to mention the trade in offer (which took a week to get) was disrespectfully low—way below market averages.

Car had shown up as, "Arriving Soon", So I tried contacting as soon as possible. AI was
responding to me before open hours. I had asked a couple questions about car in my Request.
When the AI responded, it asked again if it could answer any questions about the vehicle, so I had
to type them in again, which it didn't know. As soon as the dealer ship opened, they emailed and
said the car was unavailable. I guess, I don't think they should list it until they actually have it for
sale. Big waste of my time.

I purchased a 4runner long distance (400 plus miles away), excellent transaction so far, staff at Basil Toyota were/are responsive and professional. Everything is going smoothly and we plan to pick the vehicle up next week. I highly recommend Basil Toyota

I drove over 50 miles to see the truck I was interested in. When I got to the dealership I was told that the person I was in email communication
with only did the scheduling and I had to sit with another person to give them the info on the truck I was interested in, ugh. I was then put in
contact with a very nice salesmen, who after a short time, told me the truck had sold the day before, double ugh !! To his credit, he found
another truck on their lot that I ended up buying a few days later. So I have mixed feelings about their whole CarGurus process.

They were professional and helpful without being pushy.. After setting up a test drive they understood the need to
postpone that because of the Corona virus crisis.... They have not yet answered an email with two technical
questions about two reported problems with the Rav 4, but that may be pending... Pleased and impressed...

The whole team from sales to service made buying my truck a fun and stress free experience. They really understand that it's better to make a lifetime customer instead of a quick sale, my wife is also a soon to be customer just from her seeing how I was treated. The dealership actually went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the deal and the interactions I had with the staff. Everything was very transparent with no hassle. I really appreciate everything they did included walking me through the extended warranty plan. After a couple months of homework they were the best deal within 500 miles. I do look forward to our next great deal with Basil...

Pester you senseless with emails every single day but took a 2nd request to get the damn info on the car
rather i was interested in rather than "show up here!" "When you coming in?" etc, etc, etc. JUST GIVE THE
CAR'S INFO.
Tim and Basil Toyota was great, although I didn't end up buying the vehicle I went to look at he went out of his way to help me and didn't get crazy bothering me after I left. Would definitely consider Basil the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle.

I went to see the car and was pressured to make a deal then and there. My trade in car was priced out
very low. For reference, I already made a deal and I was offered 2.5 thousand dollars more than the
trade in value that Basil Toyota gave me.

Very rude sales manager. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing him for asking for a test drive. Really liked the car and was hoping to purchase, but the manager just gave me too many red flags.

I had been emailing with someone and told them when I'd be out to test drive car, they told me they'd have it waiting for me. I know if someone else comes along to buy the car they have to sell it. Great for them. I don't have a problem with that at all,totally understandable. But at least email me or something to let me know the car is gone, instead I drove over an hour to see a car they didn't have. Then they try to get be to buy something a yr & 2yrs older than what I came for. Because they didn't have any 2018s left. But I also left. Common courtesy people.

So I made a post about this dealer a little while back of a 2 star rating. (understand I am 300
miles from this dealer). After today we are looking to make a deal, but the salesman Mike has
bent over backwards to make a sale. He has been very professional and honest about the
vehicle he has. So he completely change my mind of the dealer with todays conversation. I
will remove my old post because it looks like it was more of a miss communication than a true
representation of the dealership. I will repost if we make a deal.

Very insulting experience from Sales person and Manager. Stated they
couldn't move more than a couple hundred on the price. Also, I know the
trade in value of my car, and they offered about 20% of that after they
drove it. When my wife stood up and said how insulted she was by the
offer for my trade in, and said she would rather donate my car to charity,
the manger lowered the price of the vehicle by $1500 and said he would
reinspect my car to give me a better trade in price. Obviously they are out
to make the most out of the "deal" they can. I would never go back to this
dealership's location.

This dealership is located 90 miles from my location. Non-committal in offering practicality of driving this distance to view and negotiate a possible purchase. Although I offered to send photographs and VIN of trade-in the management declined and insisted on viewing and driving the trade-in vehicle first.

Very helpful and wanted to make the deal but not quite ready to sign on the
line as yet. Possibly too many e-mails from dealer as well as telephone calls
(for my comfort level--more than 3 a day is too much of either but I had many
more.) Rated as a very good dealership, having bought from the prior Toyota
dealer (Downing Toyota) at the same location 10 years prior. Like the
Dealership.

When I got there I did not meet with the person I was told I was meeting with. So the person I did get to talk to didn't know what we were there to look at or looking for. And the car I was going to look at had not been defrosted, cleaned off, or pulled up so we had to wait for it to warm up and the man had to go find a snow brush somewhere. Went to the car without him and it was advertised wrong on cargus which isn't necessarily Basil's fault, but I feel like something should be done about that. So we drove 50 minutes there and back and wasted an hour there for nothing.

Besides the pushy, "take charge" salesman... The dealership itself is really nice & friendly. I'm going to rate 5 stars because of the finance Mngr Britney. She & her other managers are really awesome. They got me approved w/ 6.5% financing on a 2010 jeep when i was denied by every bank they put me through including Toyota financial. They said "we have a good relationship with the bank".
Overall, I am very happy with the service they had to offer,
Let's see if they complete the repairs i requested.
