The price listed on the app was not the same as the price out the door. Spent 30 minutes negotiating the price while being pressured constantly to finance the sale. After we finally got to a price I found acceptable I asked for clarification that the agreed price was what I would pay out the door. That's when I was told that there were in fact almost $1,000 in hidden fee's that made up for the amount of money I just bargained them out of. I was told that it was a standard fee that they added to all sales, but coincidentally was not included in the asking price. Then offered to reduce the amount if I would just finance it. I was upfront from the beginning about not wanting to finance it, I even asked if paying cash was going to be a problem. They said "no not a problem". Obviously a lie. Do not recommend wasted at least an hour trying to negotiate a price that was never going to be the actual price. They were not upfront and avoided talking about the actual price. Dishonest

Shawn, you ran two quotes one with shipping and one without shipping and then called us dishonest because the shipping charge when it was just Cargurus letting you know an estimated cost to deliver the vehicle (one quote with shipping one without shipping). The only other fees in the sale we went over was our Dealer doc fee and the title and reg for your state. Every Dealer has a doc fee and yes it is not included in the sales price, just like DMV and Taxes are not included in the sales price. It is listed on Cargurus that there was an accident, we had just had not got to that part in the discussion of the vehicle. We had just done a video and were getting ready to provide our inspection/service and history reports. We weren't hiding anything we just had not gotten there yet.

Thank you Steve for helping make my 2018 BMW M3 with the comprehensive package a reality. I’ve been searching for a car with specific features and no modifications, and this one in particular stands out as exceptionally clean and well-maintained. From the initial consultation to the final video review, I was impressed by the honesty and transparency throughout the entire process. A big shoutout to Steve and his team for everything they did, and a special thank you to Cesar as well, both who always ensured that I was taken care of from the beginning to the end.
Steve at Auto Star Motors in Boise help facilitate the out of state purchase, inspection, and shipment of my 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S. Negotiations took several weeks and they were very forthcoming in allowing a third-party to inspect the vehicle and give a comprehensive report. Although a few things were found outside of the dealerships inspection overall the vehicle inspected and sound condition as they had described.
This car was shipped from Boise to Pennsylvania in a covered trailer for approximately $2500, this was essential because it was winter.
Several months after the purchase one of the keys was not working correctly. Steve FaceTimed me over the phone and help me get it working.
This was a very expensive purchase for me but the whole transaction was done very professionally and with a personal touch. Great job Steve and dealership team, keep up the good work.
Very slow to respond and did not want to tell me they couldnt work anything out. I like communication, not being left on the hook.

I was pre qualified for this purchase, but then I was later told i needed a HUGE down payment (unbelievably huge) and then they pretty much stopped communicating. Even after reaching back out to them

We spoke many times and the last time you messaged us was July 15th and we did respond to you. Down payments are not up to us they are up to the banks. If you have any questions you can always call in, we are always here ready to answer any questions.
I was contacted promptly by Auto Star. I ended up making my purchase of a 2013 Lexus with under 50K miles. Though the process of buying out of state was somewhat

Dealer was very helpful and informative, and I got all the info I was looking for about the car. This particular fusion ended up not being a match for me, but if they do end up with a car that is, I’ll be back!
Responded quickly sent me a video chat told me he would drop the price and help me find a shiper so I could get it to Colorado and might even be able to help me find a nice topper for the back to cover the bed really nice guy had his assistant call me back several times I was really satisfied with them
