Dealer wasn't interested in selling the car, even though I had the bank check ready. I guess the dealer doesn't have the car in it's possession. I asked if the car was still available, and the answer was Yes. It's a total scam!

Was contacted almost immediately by the dealer, completed the information they requested and returned it back to them, along with my pre-
qualification letter. They never responded to my messages for follow-up asking about status or if they needed anything else. A week later, I
got a denial email from some other lender they sent my application to, and it appears they never even sent it to the one i was
approved/qualified with. And still no one has called to tell me anything or even respond to my emails that I sent following up. If you can't

Worst car dealership experience ever. I was really interested in a specific car so I called multiple times until someone finally picked up. She said her name was Ana and every question I asked she basically acted like I was calling the wrong place and was extremely rude about it. She called me back next day acting like nothing happened and went over the APR/monthly payments which was $530+ a month for 14% 72 months on a $19,000 car. Absolutely unacceptable. I went to another dealership with same price, same APR, and monthly payments $200 less than what she offered. Never mind all the lies that are told on their website. That’s for another day.

Traveled here from Oklahoma on 2-10-23 to check out a Dodge challenger. This dealership is A-1!! The customer service is great. They really made me and my family feel welcomed . They work well with my credit union to make the sale happen. Making the sale was a little tricky due to my credit union being based out of Memphis and the dealership being in Houston. The lady I worked with was Anna. She is a SUPERSTAR!! She was a big reason why the transaction went as smooth as it did. She worked very closely with my loan officer at my credit to get the sale done. Auto Selection Inc. made sure the vehicle was safe and ready to make drive back to Oklahoma. The vehicle made it back to Oklahoma without any issues. Anna checked in the next day to make sure my family and I made it back home safely. That meant a lot to me. Had a small issue getting vehicle registered when I got back home to Oklahoma and Anna helped get that issue resolved!
Poor communication, little to no help. Made it seem like it was a bother for her to pick up the phone. Do better.

I called them and ask what’s the damage to the car and the lady said “oh its minor damage”.we drove 2 hours to see the car and when we went there-the carfax report said -major damage..and the front of the car still not totally fix…the people that work there are friendly though…

At first, everything seemed to be on the up and up, I took the truck for a test drive, I did have a few concerns, ac didn’t work, radio didn’t work and steering column was expose which they addressed. I purchased the truck, and once I drove it to gas station all lights no longer worked. I took it back and they kept it for a few days, when the check cleared , I got the truck, everything went out, ac lights. Once again, they repaired it, I got it back and once I got it home, it was smoking from the engine. I took it to a mechanic, seals on the valve covers are leaking and there has been extensive damage to the front end of the vehicle, it is being held together by plastic fast ties. I was informed that the vehicle has been in an accident which was never revealed to me prior to purchase. I trusted the information from car gurus car fax. That car dealership is crooked and very deceitful. I hope no one else will be swindled as I have.

Terrible customer service. I talked to 3 sales people who had no idea the car had sold 3 days prior. Ad of today it is still listed on their site. Guess it's the old Bait and hook. Ridiculous!

Found a car I really wanted. It had sold "10 minutes" before we got there (but is still listed as available on website). Found another I absolutely loved. Went in to fill out paperwork and was told they no longer worked with the finance company I had been approved with (even though the finance company said they did). Had to drive 2 hours to get to dealership. Wasted an entire day.

Furthermore, my co-worker was trying to help you out through his own connections. This dealership is selling wrecked vehicles that they have just barely fixed. I went to try and test drive this car, but as soon as you put it in drive, it started GARGLING. The engine was making a LOUD awful noise.
The lady suggested we try another car they had in our price range… it has frame damage that was so obvious from the second you opened the door, the whole car was leaning sideways.
These people are selling vehicles that have gone unreported wrecked, and fixing them up just a little bit!!!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

Upon arriving here my mother and I were greeted with smiles from all staff. Anna made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The car I chose was a 2016 Ford Fiesta and she made sure the car was in perfect condition before I drove it off the lot. I definitely recommend this place for buying your first car, 3rd car, 10th car and number of car you are on. Anna is amazing!

From the phone call to the viewing of the car, both Keith and Mike were 100% great. No pressure from Mike as we looked at the car, test drove, and asked our questions. We found the car to be a fair price, and the purchasing process was easy. Mike left communication open in case we have any questions in the future. If we are ever in need of another used car, they’ll be our first call.
I have already left an excellent review for this dealer. Because my experience was so enjoyable and my deal was so good I wanted to extend my thanks again to Keith and his sales associates that helped me.
I believe because it is a smaller business, the personal attention is much greater. All of my paperwork was filled out meticulously and they made it very easy for me to walk out with my new vehicle.
Be careful when purchasing a car from this place. My engine went out in a month. Which left me and my kids stranded until we got help to get it towed. And they’re saying I’m responsible to pay half of it to repair as if its cheap. Especially when i just put 2k down. The loaner car they gave is dirty and not up to par. Ridiculous. This isn’t the place for you especially if you have kids and it’s impossible for you to be without a vehicle.
Horrible experience. Went in to see the car and while looking at the car i asked the sales man Keith was he willing to negotiate the price, he said yes. Test drove the car and came back to inspect it, i had a few questions. The lower grill of the car is missing, brakes and rotors needs to be fixed. I explained to it I’m interested but wanted to negotiate the price. He proceeded to say the price was firm, i was willing to move forward with the paperwork. My husband went outside to do a final inspection and discovered the radio doesn’t work. Told the salesman I’m no longer interested, he’s not willing to negotiate, however there’s so much wrong and needs to be fixed with this vehicle. First experience was the worst experience. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this dealer and I’ll never work with this dealer again.

We had a great experience with Area 5 Auto Sales. We were a little worried that we were in the wrong place when we arrived but we were greeted by a very friendly salesman Mike and Keith made sure all our paperwork was exactly as it should be before we left with a new (used) car for our college student. I would definitely recommend them!

20 inch rims are expensive. No

I bought a 2007 BMW 335i convertible from Area 5. Mike gave me a great price on the car. It’s not perfect but I new that going in. Mike is straight forward with his pricing and will work with you if you have problems. Disregard the cars out in front of his office, they’re from the salvage yard next door.

Good experience overall. Did not end up purchasing vehicle from this dealer, but they are responsive with questions and appointments. Dealer is attached to a scrap and impound yard, and tends to have late-model slightly blemished vehicles for sale.

We drove a couple hours from Goliad to Houston. My husband had been speaking with them all day even forwarding purchase info to our bank from A5. We get there and it’s a sleazy warehouse with the oddest personnel. The car was not as pictured and was in the back of this jam packed warehouse shop. You’d think they’d have had it ready knowing we were on our way. Upon further inspection of the car the pricing was clearly due to the condition of the car which was not depicted in the listing. Should have gone with my gut reaction from first phone call and RAN AWAY!

Very good. I called few days before purchase and dealer held the car for me . Only bad thing was that I had to replace brake pads and rotors 4 days after I bought the car. Some dealers change brakes before they sell the car , that is part of regular maintanance and little things like that should be checked before purchase. Other than that everybody was pleasent and willing to help and I rated this dealer with 5 stars.

What can I say! My husband and I were a little skeptical upon our initial visit. Wasn’t sure that we had the right place, but looks can be deceiving. We soon had the pleasure of meeting Mike in person. He took us back to the showroom where we had the opportunity to look over the inventory. The vehicle that we came to see a 2015 Crystal 200 had some
Exterior concerns that weren’t really a big deal, but wanted them fixed if we were going to truly
consider buying this car. I asked Mike would it be possible and he said his customers are number 1 and that’s the service you will get. I told him we wanted 24 hours to think about it as we had other cars we were scheduled to see. A man of his word, he did, he also fixed everything that we had concerns with. Needless to say, we bought the car. My husband, who is a natural skeptic, even said, if he is willing to spend his own money (Mike) he cares about his reputation and the product his dealership sales. He was always available after purchase for any questions or concerns that I had and it really meant a lot. He even gave me a discount off the asking price and assisted us with acquiring an additional key.
We will definitely be repeat customers!

I haven't purchase a car for myself in 12 years. I have been searching for
7 months and finally found a car I was interested in. We traveled 100
miles to look at a car but ended up purchasing another from Area 5 Auto
Sales. Seriously the best car experience I've had. There was no pressure
and a real desire to see us in a car. We were given the carfax on each car
we drove and Mike was willing to negotiate the price of the car. The
purchase was easy and Mike agreed to get us an extra key and keyless
fob entry. We celebrated with Turkish coffee and a great suggestion of a
place to eat. We will definitely be back for our next car purchase. From
someone that researches in depth, I highly recommend stopping here first.
I bought my vehicle from this dealer a few months ago and I have been
very happy with my purchase. At the time of viewing it, I asked if I could
have the vehicle checked by a third party mechanic. which was not a
problem for the dealer at all. Mike was very responsive and professional
during the buying process, and I appreciated his willingness to take care
of a few minor details, such as installing a missing entertainment center
knob, which he got from the dealer, or having his leather upholstery guy
take care of a touch up, so as to make sure I was a satisfied customer.
What I also liked is the zero buying pressure perceived during the viewing
and buying process. Mike even recommended an amazing
Mediterranean restaurant for me and my sister to eat before heading back
home!
After months of driving on the highway back and forth to Austin, while
feeling comfortable and safe, I have nothing but great things to say about
Area 5 Auto Sales, and look forward to buying from them in the future.

Mike and Keith worked very hard to get us in the car we wanted. They are super patient, don't hang over your shoulder or follow you around. Transaction was quick and painless. Mike answered my call immediately and had no problems in answering all my other calls and questions that I bombarded him with.
