I drove over 3 hours (6 hours round trip) to test drive the car. I communicate via phone with more than one person that the car was available. Not only was that car not even on the premises, but they had NO used cars even other ones they had pictured for sale of car gurus for me to test drive… they immediately went into offering me a new car instead and he could work the numbers to make it affordable for me. I obviously didn’t believe that could happen but after driving so far I figured why not. Although I knew in my gut I couldn’t trust them. They had the Highest dealer fees and charges I had ever heard of. Came back with an invoice of $45,000. Remember I drove all that distance to look at a used car at $26,500. After stating my displeasure about my compete waste of time and distasteful treatment they offered and did fill my gas tank to return home.
This is just what happened to me. But in my opinion, it’s a true bait and switch

I was on property, with an appointment, for over 15 minutes and the only person that helped me simply showed me a chair and said he or someone would be back. I texted the "team" and said I'm leaving, it wasn't until I was unlocking my car door that someone asked me anything. I wouldn't by anything from this "team." Hopefully you'll have a better experience if you try them.

Good in the response. Not too much pressure to buy. Negotiable with price. Slacking in the delivery of the purchased vehicle. Dropped the ball on some items w/veh. Inspect it again before purchase and DON’T close the deal at night. We were in a rush to get home after work and neglected final inspect of veh. Wouldn’t have been a deal breaker but disappointed nonetheless as it shows a lack of attention to detail. Caused me decide to not return my other car, Honda Crosstour, to the service dept for some much needed work.

This was probably the easiest transaction I've done regarding car sales. I thought because I came from out of state there would be some hic ups. The team sent David to pick me up from the airport and the paper work went as smooth as the test drive! Then I proceeded to drive the car over 1700 miles back home and the car was in great running condition they did not try and hide or cover up any issues the car may have had. I recommend these guys!

Was told truck was available. Made arrangements to see and
likely buy truck next day. Called the morning of and was told again
truck was available and ready to go. Made a 45minute trip to
dealership. When I arrived was told by sales person that the truck
had issues and was being pulled from sale. Then the sales person
tried to sell me other cars, even though I was in the market for a
truck. They did not pull the car gurus listing , but instead posted
new pictures of the truck. I called for an explanation Was given
some run around excuses and listing was pulled next day. Would
not deal with these people again, Listing a truck before inspecting
it is not the way to do business.

Vehicle was misrepresented. I drove 160 miles each way to see the car only to discover Damage
to passenger front indicating an accident which was not disclosed. Vehicle also had a serious
clunk when put in drive or reverse. Honest answers would have saved me a day trip.

I bought the CRV, after driving it for less than a day it seemed like it was shifting rough. On the second day the air conditioning stopped working. I just spent $1200 on getting the AC repaired a week after buying the car and the transmission issue still hasn’t been fixed. I would think a reputable dealer would have a better grip on their cars. I understand “as is” but this is ridiculous.

Everyone we spoke with at Duval Honda was extremely friendly & helpful! The dealership was clean & they are pretty accommodating with Covid safety in mind. My boyfriend & I originally went to look at a gently used 19 Honda Civic LX but ended up leaving in a brand new 20 Civic Sport that was still within my payment range! I love my new car & I can’t thank them enough for what was probably the best sales experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership.

My only negative comment is that when the financial paperwork was being drawn up for the final sale, they tried to hard sell the "extended coverages" that I had already made clear I wasn't interested in. Other than that small observation I was extremely pleased with the experience. Would highly recommend them.

They responded but I called them first and purchased the vehicle. Van (sales) was great although the description of the car saying navigation included was incorrect on the website (not his fault) and I didn't notice until looking at the certified checklist. I already have another car and had a checklist of what I wanted in this car. I didn't appreciate the sales manager kind of downplaying navigation.....I don't care that I have a phone, It's all about what I want!! All in all everyone was friendly and I was an easy sell because I was tired of looking for a car. Was seeking used, low mileage, reliable, and found it!

Friendly, no pressure salesman, Van Jones is total class. Even though we couldn't come to an agreement on price, experience was largely positive. Van Jones is all about customer service. Responded timely and courteously at every point in the process.

Jerked me around and lied about car
being sold
They contacted me in a reasonable time and set up a reasonable time to look at the vehicle.
However, this dealer....
1. Would not negotiate prices what so ever. Its their policy and I think they should state that prior to the long drive to see the vehicle. The price you see is their lowest price so dont expect them to budge even a dollar.
2. The salesman was terrible. I made an appointment and he had several days to familiarize himself with the vehicle but he didnt. I had to wait 30 minutes for him to find the key for the thing! On the test drive I kept asking questions on whats this whats that how does this work what was the previous info on it. Any wrecks. Just normal questions and he couldnt answer a single one. Instead he said the information is in the owners manual. Well duh its in there but I dont have time to sit and read it and then test drive it. Thats his job. Hes been in the business for many years and he should know cars. He didnt even know what type of engine was in it. V-6 or V-8. Poor salesmanship if you ask me.
3. I was very interested in the vehicle but there were some major scratches and a terrible cover up paint job i wanted fixed before I would buy it. I didnt hear from them for four days in regards to the status of the paint job they said they would do. In that four days the only time they called me was to flood my phone and email (four a day each) they wanted me to rate my purchase and the dealer. How can I rate when I didnt even purchase anything. Not to mention they never personally called me to see inform me of the status of the vehicle. Each email and phone call I received I told them I didnt buy anything and i am waiting to hear back on how long it will take to paint it. None of those messages were answered. I even emailed the salesman but nothing. Now after I emailed and said that I would be holding off on purchasing because I didnt care for how the dealership does business and i wanted to think about it more.
Now they call me a couple times a week telling me my vehicle is ready wanting to know when I am picking it up. Once again, its not mine and Ive already told them I am not buying it just yet.
I am in sales and the Head of Marketing for a couple companies and there is no way that I would do business like that.

Sadly, the salesman started out

This dealership did not deliver as promised. They have a central answering service that does not have access to accurate and up to date information about their stock nor is she able to promptly transfer calls to service people with correct imformation. After driving 40 miles with our infirm 98 year old mother in the car, the car we wanted to see was not available and the salesman we spoke to couldn't even find it in their inventory. He showed us another car. We did not buy it and left to visit Mike Shad, a Nissan dealership down the road, where we were expected and treated to excellent service. The Honda dealership on Atlantic Boulevard is where we finally leased a car at a fantastic price. We urge customers to go to the Honda dealership on the other side of town if they want first rate service. I have to say that Honda sells a terrific product and Ido not think what happened to us is typical of most Honda dealerships and perhaps not even this one. Whe the dispatcher emailed us to ask,how the service was, I told her but she did not evesooner an apology so overall this was a poor experience for us.

Darin was knowledgable, understanding of my needs, friendly, and really tried to help out. I went with another dealer who was willing and able to really consider a reasonable price for same car slightly more miles.
