They were kind and responsive

The pricing advertised is with every possible discount-- including Employee pricing. This is not clear on CarGurus but somewhat clear on their site, where they offer another (discounted price). I called shortly after it was listed-- being comfortable with the less discounted price-- and was quickly told that this vehicle was never available, and that it was a custom order for a prior customer, but I could put my name on a waiting list in case the buyer dropped out. When I tried to inquire further no one responded. The whole situation is rather odd and the long-sold vehicle is still active on Cargurus and their website. This scenario seems like a very clear FTC violation and is not acceptable practice for an authorized dealer. Giving them a benefit of the doubt- maybe they are fair to locals. But it sure seems like they are at least letting their internet sales department act against regulation and/or ethics to try to bring in non-locals based upon knowingly false ads.

Called still have not seen anyone but good contact services

Dealership called. We told them we’d like to buy the explorer for the price advertised. They then said the price advertised for was for employees only. So they would not honor the car gurus advertised price.

Not good.Try to reach seller Mathew on several days and does not answer.He was not organized and was a waste of time..

Buying this car was a good experience. Our salesman Chris R. made it pleasant. He wasn't pushy or nosey. He offered different options of cars like the one I was looking at. He took care of small details about the car that I asked him to do. I would recommend him and Atchison Ford for buying a vehicle.

Very disappointed with the salesman Mike Flaggs. My Brother was approved for a vehicle and when we we’re getting ready to go pick the vehicle up. Mike texted me to call him. He told me that my brother couldn’t drive the vehicle off the lot without license. He should have been reviewed his documents. My frustration with Mike is I have been in contact with him for 2 weeks about this vehicle, having the paperwork ready it’s his fault for not reviewing the documents to make sure everything was ok. My brother was approved!!! Mike never called me to say sorry or check the laws or nothing. Here in Michigan one’s able to purchase a vehicle without license if someone else has insurance and Drivers license with the purchaser listed on the policy. I had the insurance set up that way but he didn’t even ask me he just ended the call. SMDH Mike was very rude and lacked hospitality for someone willing to drive approximately 4 hours to their dealership. Respectfully, Unsatisfied Custome

Set up an appointment to see it and test drive at 5pm January 22nd, went to said appointment only to find out they were closed and would be all weekend, no phone call or email telling me they would be closed. Waste of time.

Eddie Madeja, the internet sales guy I talked to, was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend doing business with him. There was one day when he wasn't available so I contacted the dealer through the chat feature and was directed to Chris Rogers, a used car sales guy, and he was not so helpful. He answered my immediate question but went no further with trying to engage me nor did he even bother to respond to a couple of follow-up inquiries. I will never do any business with Chris Rogers at Atchinson Ford.

The dealer was upfront and honest to say that the vehicle sat in water and the bottom of the vehicle was rusted and would need a lot of repairs.

Chris Rogers was friendly and helpful. He worked diligently with handling all paperwork for vehicle purchase with enthusiasm and ease while maintaining social distancing and reinventing the car buying experience. The dealership was extremely busy, but the overall service experience was satisfactory and highly recommended. Love the vehicle!!! Thanks Chris!

Welcoming, Courteous and Upright: I received an all but immediate response to my initial inquiry and had very professional and open dialogue throughout the process of purchasing a vehicle from Atchison. Chris, Norm and their entire staff were welcoming and genuine. Atchison went above and beyond to accommodate my every desire to conduct a thorough going-over of the vehicle and never once attempted to downplay any issue I noted with the vehicle. There were a few things of which they were unaware about the vehicle, but which when pointed out by their own tire service personnel, Norm never once attempted to dodge/dismiss those issues. Norm relied on and respected the expertise of their tire center employees and offered options/recommendations about what could be done to address those issues by Atchison. I would recommend Chris, Norm, and the entire Atchison staff to anyone in the market for a vehicle. They've earned an "OOH-RAH!" from this Marine.

We had a very nice experience. Sales person was extremely knowledgeable. We drove it and i fell in love with it. Titanium has every option. Almost bought this vehicle, it just had a little rust on inside bottom front seat door jambs, probley an easy fix, but I decided to shop around.

I am very pleased with my vehicle. The staff was very efficient and pleasant. I will be back in the future.

Very good people there and good deals on vehicles

The vehicle was fine, but it was priced in the higher range of the average asking price for this make and model. The dealer would not consider dropping the price even a little, even though I was prepared to pay cash. According to CarFax, the vehicle was offered for sale with this dealer on 3/29/19, but on 4/25/19, when I asked how long the car had been available, I was told 2 weeks. In short, Atchinson was eager to get me to their dealership, but once I was there, they did not seem very eager to sell the car. I'd never encountered a dealership that wasn't willing to negotiate with a client, even a few hundred dollars. Overall disappointing.

Even though I didn't end up purchasing a car from them, I wish I had been able to. Mike was absolutely the man - if every car salesperson were like him, nobody would dread the prospect of buying a car. Super helpful and friendly, with no pressure. Highly recommend.

There web sight brags about a "transparent " sales experience . I wrote to them twice and asked how much their doc fee was. I never got a straight answer. They wanted my phone number, and I don't want salesmen calling me. I just want a straight answer to a straight question. I hate these games that they play. Tom J

Very friendly and helpful sold me a great car

My wife set up an appointment to see the car and after a long drive, she was told it had been sold the night before. We are not happy about the lack of communication.

The dealer contacted me right away and was very helpful. I plan to see the vehicle today and am looking forward to working with them.

I asked a few specific questions and received a generic "canned" response. I did not correspond further because my questions about the vehicle had not been answered. I have nothing good or bad to say about the dealership.

I will recommend this dealership. Even though the vehicle was sold when I got there, the salesperson and manager was really nice in trying to accommodate.

Had an appointment to see a vehicle. We to bank to get money and drove 40 minutes. Then they said it sold hours before. It would have been nice to get a courtesy call. Waste of time.

Easy to do the deal

The actually experience was overall pretty good. I called and inquired about the vehicle. The guy that answered didn't know a whole lot a out it but ran out to the car, looked it over and called me back to tell me that it looked pretty darn good (I was coming about 150 miles away) Arrived and asked to look and drive the vehicle. Did just fine. Paid cash, but it took over 45 minutes to process the paper work. When I sat down with the first fiance officer (mind you, I was paying cash) he told me that the car was a trade in and didn't even open the hood to check the oil. What type of car dealership doesn't do a look over to ensure the vehicle it sells is safe? Had they told me that at the beginning instead of the final signature I probably would not have bought the vehicle. Just saying....
