Mel was awesome, they went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. The best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Never felt pushed, treated me like a real human being. After agreement made, extra work done to vehicle, no question no hassle. After I left, they called and said I had left a key. Received it in the mail within the next few days. Mel, you are awesome. If the rating were based on the response time from dealer, I would give 5stars. However, while pictures may say 1,000 words, the proof is in the pudding. After getting financed for purchase, driving 6 hours to take delivery of the vehicle and finish the transaction, the vehicle had more issues than I was alerted to. While the vehicle has fresh paint, it doesn't cover the the entire vehicle. The repair made to the leather on the driver seat was, in my opinion, unsatisfactory. The interior could have used more attention to detailed cleaning prior to sale, and especially when a customer is taking delivery of the vehicle. There was a check engine light that caused concern, which they did offer to get me the part for repair. Starting the vehicle was an issue as you had to fiddle with the tumbler to get it to engage in order to start.

I love Mel’s sincerity and readiness to help. He communicated everything I needed to know about the car and I was not disappointed when I eventually saw it. There was no hidden charges on the listed price. He’s a great guy to be around. I’ll definitely recommend him.

Mel and his crew were absolutely fantastic! Buying cars is not really a strength of ours but Mel made it so easy. The only problem we encountered was the battery of the van was bad so we had to wait a couple of days to get the battery replaced. Ashland Auto covered this cost and we have the most updated vehicle we’ve ever owned.

He gave us the keys to open the van and turn on the engine. The first impression was not good. Van was filthy. I turned on the van and it not only sounded rough the ck engine light stayed on. His explanation was it was a manufacturer glitch. Not!!! No recall on that year. Very bad experience.

We drove onto the dealers lot and found no place to park. No one came out to talk to us. After a few minutes we left. I really wanted the Jeep and had the money for it. I will never go back to this dealer.

Misrepresentation of the car. Pictures and information was incorrectly given. Drove 6 hours, round trip, to find out the car was not in the condition they said it was. #beware!!!!

Very unprofessional. He was eating pizza instead of trying to be a salesman. He did offer pizza to us. The truck was over priced in my opinion based on it's condition so we won't pursue it any longer.

They responded within 3 days which is common through CarGurus in my experience. They gave better details on the truck but not the right truck for me.

They were quick in the process and in getting the title to me. I was surprised in how easy it was to buy from them and at the negotiated price. No pressure at all from the salesman

It took them 4 days to return my contact request. We had already been to look at the vehicle and decided against pursuing purchasing. Very disappointed. When I told the guy we had decided against purchasing, he hung up on me. I won't be dealing with them ever.

Salesman calls at 10:48 pm at night many days after my email of interest.. Really, ???... almost 11 pm at night..you are catching up on your calls days late and very late at night??? First of all, how unprofessional!!! Secondly, since you didn't answer my email, I purchased a van just like it for much less $$ from a real gentleman salesman somewhere else. To top it off... I sent email to owner at Ashland telling him about my ordeal, guess what? NO RESPONSE .. guess they don't like customers ... only their money! IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO ...I WOULD....

They called me back right away! And sent more pictures and took the time to go over car that I was interested in. Soon as I can get my funds together I'm getting that car if it's still available

I suddenly had to leave town for several days on a business trip. In a hurry, I left my phone at home. The dealership made several attempts to contact me with the desire to help me with a purchase. I noticed an e-mail and several messages on my phone when I arrived back home. I appreciated their determination to help me in-spite of my absent mindedness!

They were honest that they won't let there car price go down to what it was worth. Saved me from buying a lemon.

They have reasonable prices and nice vehicles but don't seem to know what they have and what's been sold. I called about a car and was told it was available then talked to another person who said it was sold yesterday - it was frustrating

Contacted the dealer about the car and went to check it out. There were issues with the car which they claimed they would repair but I was no longer interested. Found a better car at a much lower price elsewhere.

The sales person was very helpful, helped us get to the test drive right away and assured us the car could be ready to take home that afternoon. We did not feel pressured, but we have not made a purchase yet.

Called Monday morning and discussed items on car. Asked more questions online that afternoon. No response. Car still available online Tuesday . Drove over two hours one way to find the car had been sold Friday.

All cars have high mileage and dings. Not impressed with staff...they were difficult to understand.
