Yes , they responded, but told me the car was sold. That was on 22 Sept. The car was continued to be advertised since. Someone from the dealership responded to me, but just stated the car was sold, but did not say it would be continued to be advertised. Consequently I did not know that, because it did not say "sale pending" on the ad. So I thought I was being overlooked. I guess, my mistake. So I'm changing my rating as of 2-5-24.

Response from current dealership:
Hello once we take a deposit car becomes pending. Its stays live on website until its sold. We treat everyone equally and every car purchase stays same process. We also ship out car to customers in Alaska and have no problem helping out of state customers. We are glad you found a good deal and are sorry we sold the vehicle you were looking for before you reached us. Also we have been at this address for more than 2 years.
