Generally good - a couple of times was delay in communication but all questions answered. Honest description and went out of way to “face time” and go over all issues with vehicle. Resulting in a purchase.

I contacted Active Auto Sales and stated: The fuel tanks of these CNG vehicles reach their expiration date at 15 years. I noted on the Car Fax that the government entity who owned it, sold it at 14 years and 7 months. These fuel tanks are around $4000 to replace. Each CNG tank has the expiration date stamped on it. Owners are required to have the tank inspected by a certified technician at the expiration date of them. This is according to Dept of Transportation, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 304 regulations. Accordingly, can you send me a photo of the stamped expiration date on the tank and any information you have regarding its inspection and qualifications of the tech who did so." Their reply: "The issue of the NGV tank replacement was unknown till you informed us of this requirement I have removed the cover and inspected the tank and have found the existing tank date has expired.There is a chance that it can be re-inspected and certified for use for another 3 years We are now aware the situation and are looking into replacement of the tank. or having it re-certified. Since this is the first natural gas vehicle we have taken as a trade-in and is new technology to us we are now doing some research." That was the 8th of February, today is the 14th. No contact since.

Prompt and polite in response. Took a test drive. Did not take the offer because I got interested in another vehicle.

I didn't end up buying a car from Olaf but if we had found the right car for my needs I would have been happy to buy from him. He put absolutely no pressure on me. He helped me to reason out loud about my choices without trying to sway me from my criteria. He was patient as all could be. And as a woman with little buying experience I did not feel intimidated. If I am shopping again or want to sell a car I would def want to bring my business to Olaf. Thank you

Oloff ,The (salesman/proprietor) at Active Auto Sales in Madeira Corte CA,Was a Nice man,But was NOT set up , to SELL cars, as fast as some of us would like.I Understand "advertising". But ...This particular 98' Jaguar, Was Overpriced, And I and My Wife ran out of time,and patience, while waiting for Oloff, to finish up with Others! The car WAS NOT in " excellent shape" AS ADVERTISED!! ..ie.Parts Missing...drivers power mirror adjustment button, Sunroof DOESN'T WORK.. BRAKES!! Pressed to the floor, in order to Stop. NO Exaggeration.... On Top of ALL of That...I made an offer..Just to see,what he would say! And He only came down $500.Mr Oloff, Thank You for the Test Drive...But I cannot, In good faith, Give more than 1 Star! I would have taken the vehicle, And at least..given it a good home.. BY REPAIRING IT......

car had dents on door three big ones after he told me car was perfect on the phone.

Lots of old cars, very lay back, went to Dealer 40 miles away and got bad vibes. Takes Saturday off, too busy playing to work.

Not the sleaziest dealer I went to but I was given a hard hustle and ended up having to go back to get some items that were promised.

I had a good experience, took a little longer than I would have liked. Charlie said they had gotten a new computer system and he was having an issue with it. I had time so we left and went to lunch while he was dealing with it so it was no huge deal.
