Horrible experience! Do not buy from 77 Auto Wanted to sell a damaged car with water damage and accident. The carfax was misleading. Buy from a reputable dealership!!!

They called me quickly. However, when we arrived nobody knew anything about anything. Lost the keys and then the car was in horrible shape. Smelled like mold and really not clean at all. Could not find the car because it was on the back lot. Not the best experience.

The dealer DID NOT LISTEN. They ignored everything I said. The listing left out damage, making me wonder if there was something else they left out. They didn't bother to clean the vehicle and it was full of other people's dirt. I was clear about paying cash and they tried to charge me a "finance fee". We walked away and they called and texted us and continued to not listen. Every question I asked was met with boilerplate "dealer speak". For example, I brought up the damage and they said it went through a 169 point inspection. Well that's nice, but what about this damage you didn't list? I brought up the fact they didn't even vacuum the inside and they said "we did everything that requires by safety." So, in other words, they did the bare minimum. I never got answers to my questions.

they were ok. Since I am 3.5hrs from dealership and they do not bring vehicle to me to test b4 buy, I decided not to move anything forward. If not for that, we may have been able to work together. Thank you.

Absolutely horrible experience. Took the day off work to purchase a car from them. I had an appointment set, documents sent, my trade in vehicle was meticulously cleaned, and we brought plenty of capital for a down payment. The Ford Escape they advertised was exactly the vehicle and package that I had spent hours researching. I called before I left Fountain Inn to verify my appointment and wanted to see if it was OK if I showed up a bit early, which I was assured would be fine. After a two plus hour drive up I was informed that the vehicle WAS NOT THERE!!!! After almost two hours sitting at this “dealership” I was then given the salesman upsell of a more expensive vehicle that I was offered at an insultingly high price. No apologies or no concessions for their ENORMOUS BLUNDER!! So……..back in my original vehicle we go, sat in traffic for an hour and a half, and then the lovely two hour drive back to Fountain Inn……….WITHOUT THE NEW CAR!! This debacle cost me a days work, gas, unnecessa

Entirely wasted me time. Couldn't get a simple dealer write up showing cost breakdown. Sales manager feels it better to waste time and run unnecessary credit inquiries regardless of being told about previous approval. I would caution anyone about this dealer.

77 Auto responded very quickly to my inquiry. They took care of securing financing before I arrived. When I got there all I had to do was test drive the vehicle and sign. They were upfront and I was well taken care of.

I was inquiring about a particular truck that was listed on car gurus for a significant amount of time and was told it was still available and for me to come check it out and make them an offer because they would really like to sell the truck. Drove an hour to dealership and the salesman could not locate key for the truck and after him entering and exiting the building several time checking the numbers to locate key he comes out and says oh that truck has been sold but the manager gave him a key to another truck he wanted me to drive, of course it was a newer model with a bigger price tag and immediately I knew what they were trying to accomplish. After several little sales tricks I suppose you could call it not from the salesman but assuming it was his supervisor try to convince me to purchase the higher priced truck I finally had enough of my time wasted and left the dealership. The salesman JR I think was his name was great and I think he was put in this position by his superiors

I was ready to purchase the vehicle when a manager sent an invoice to me that included a 77 Auto Advantage fee of $1,999.00 in addition to taxes, title and other fees. Do not believe the prices they have listed on Cargurus or their own website.

Very disappointing experience, after being in contact with the dealership on my to purchase the vehicle, they sold it just before I got there. I drove 2 hours to get there & they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me they sold the vehicle and they knew I was on the way.

The truck had transmission problems when we went to look at it and was on their rack being repaired. They didn't let us know before we came it was being repaired. So we wasted a trip. Then they called and said it was repaired. We went back, drove it, liked it, and wanted to talk money. They kept us waiting for 20 minutes, and wouldn't come down 1 dollar on the truck. Then said the price was going up because they'd made repairs, not for us, for the next customer...it was a waste of at least 4 hours. But the salesman, Shelton, was a very nice gentleman!

Buyer Beware....Facts: on Saturday December 26th, 2020 I traded a fully paid for 2020 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid XSE to get what I thought would be a reliable 2019 Toyota Camry Hydrid SE along with cash. Unfortunately I took possession of the vechile. Within an hour of leaving the dealerahip I noticed there was major rust and corrosion on all of the brakes and calipers hidden beneath the nice rims. Got stuck w/2017 Volkswagen Passat and Out $8500, dealership refused to give me back the vechile and make things right, stating by law they were under no obligation legally to do so.

The car in many ways what just what we wanted, but the driver's seat look in need of cleaning and the seatbelt was disgustingly filthy, so we turned the car down. The agent we were trying to work with then got pushy, trying to sell us some other model. My wife told him she was not interested in an electric blue car, but what did he show us...An electric blue car. I had enough and we left.
