What Volvo XC40 do most buyers choose?

The Volvo XC40 years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

What is the Volvo XC40's resale value?

Most XC40 model years are moving lower year over year, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. The biggest drops are concentrated in older and mid-cycle years, while the newest examples are changing much less. That creates a useful spread of value across the lineup, especially if you’re open to a slightly older model.

The 2025 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2024, 2025, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
