1999 Volvo V70 R Turbo AWD Review
by David

It's a Volvo, not the best at anything, but good at alot of things

Moderately sportier variant on the t5, but slower due to the additional weight of AWD. Also, was only available as a 4 speed automatic. Unfortunately, not as sporty due to the automatic, but the tranny is reliable, so far. Seating is a mix of Volvo's typical High grade leather with Alcantra. This seating is ultimately the most comfortable optio...

Avg. Dealer Rating: (76 reviews) "Very shady and unprofessional dealership. Workers seem very amateur and lazy. I contacted them to purchase the Cayenne, and before we even got started---they rudely said "we don't want to bother selling the car to you because you're out of state." What type of business is this??? Why not sell it to me? I was more than willing to pay to have it shipped to me. Why advertise your vehicle on the INTERNET, if you don't want to sell it to a buyer. You do know the internet goes beyond the state lines of CA right? When I called to speak to the supposed "supervisor," he was very rude and said that I should be ok with his decision and he can do whatever he wants to do! He wouldn't even let me get a complete sentence out, without raising his voice & cutting me off every time I tried to talk. Avoid this shady place at all costs. If you want good customer service, you WILL NOT get it here!"

Avg. Dealer Rating: (8 reviews) "Replied with phone call saying come on down. Didn't answer questions. Would like some answers before driving over an hour to look at an over priced vehicle. At least give an indication that you will come down on price to get people to come to your lot. It's the Internet age people! We can easily look up the value of vehicles. Why wouldn't you respond to emails accepting offers or even countering them? People don't want a phone call saying come on down let's see what we can work out. I already know kbb value and I willing to pay it. Why come down to hear you explain why you are trying to sell it for 3000 more dollars?? My advice is to make your money on the trade in and ask a little more then kbb not 3000. I'm guessing you will turn over a lot more cars. This applies to all dealers because I experienced the same at every dealer I dealt with. Hire someone to respond to emails with fair prices and you guys will sell more cars. Why have the option to send a dealer an email and not get an email back???? If I wanted a call back I would have called in the first place! Simply respond to emails with a lowered price then advertised and I bet you get more foot traffic and sell more more cars!!!"
