Which Volvo S90 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Volvo S90 offers these trims:

• R-Design: This trim adds a sportier presentation and sits above Momentum for shoppers who want a more expressive look.

What Volvo S90 do most buyers choose?

The Volvo S90 years with the most listings are 2018, 2017, and 2019.

Higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they usually give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right price and condition. In the S90's case, the most common years also pair strong listing counts with solid deal shares, which helps explain their popularity.

What is the Volvo S90's resale value?

Both model years show price declines, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. The larger drop points to stronger near-term value movement, while the smaller decline suggests a bit more price stability. Together, they show a market that has softened for these older S90s.

The 2017 and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Volvo S90 safe?

• 2021: 9/10
• 2017: 8/10

Volvo's Pilot Assist driver-assistance system is standard, too, with adaptive cruise control.

For the safest used buy, the 2021 model posts the highest confirmed score of 9/10.
