Used Toyota Corolla for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the Toyota Corolla cost in today's market?

Used Toyota Corolla prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Toyota Corolla's current nationwide average price is $18,148, and its lowest point over the past year was $16,771. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the Toyota Corolla is a smart used-car pick if you want a compact car built around practicality, efficiency, and easy ownership. The all-generations owner rating is 4.3/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise its reliability, solid fuel economy, and low maintenance costs. Recent models also earn praise for their stylish design, useful features, and everyday comfort.

Expert reviews rate the 2014 and 2021 models among the highest across all years.

The main tradeoffs in recent expert reviews are noisy road manners, a stereo that falls short, and fuel economy that can disappoint in some gas versions.

35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Toyota Corolla models reliable?

Owners and experts consistently point to the Corolla’s dependable operation, low running costs, and practical day-to-day character. Across the lineup, it has a strong reputation for reliability and easy ownership, and recent models add more modern features while keeping that core formula intact.

• Owners rate the Toyota Corolla between 3 and 5 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is generally low, especially if you choose a well-kept example with a clean history and regular maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used Toyota Corolla?

Across all model years, at 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2023 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0)
• Infotainment: larger 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Which Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Corolla offers these trims:

• LE: The entry point for the sedan lineup, with the Corolla’s straightforward everyday character and a lower starting price.
• SE: The sweet-spot trim, offering a strong balance of value and features, with room to add appealing equipment through option packages.
• FX: Adds sport-tuned steering, a lowered sport suspension, snazzy wheels, and a spiffy spoiler for a more athletic look and feel.
• XSE: The top gas trim, bringing the most upscale positioning in the gas lineup and access to the available JBL premium sound system.
• XLE: Available with the hybrid powertrain for shoppers who want a more upscale hybrid setup.

What Toyota Corolla do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Corolla years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

Higher-volume years usually give you more shopping choice, more price competition, and a better chance of finding the trim and condition you want. They also tend to be the easiest years to compare across listings because there are simply more examples on the market.

What is the Toyota Corolla's resale value?

Most Corolla model years in this table are moving lower year over year, which is helpful if you want to buy used after some of the initial price pressure has already worked through the market. A few older years are edging up instead, showing that certain well-kept examples still command steady demand.

The 2019, 2020, and 2023 model years are holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2015, 2016, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with prices flat to rising year-over-year.

Is the Toyota Corolla safe?

• 2025: 8/10
• 2022: 9/10
• 2021: 9/10

• 2017: 5/10

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on the 2025 Corolla.

For the safest used buy, the 2014, 2021 and 2022 models all post the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Toyota Corolla now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −3.04% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −1.75%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 38.6% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 37.9%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2025 model has the most listings at a current average price of $21,938. The Toyota Corolla offers a practical, easy-to-live-with character that makes it a strong everyday choice.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Dynamically, the Corolla FX distinguishes itself with a lowered sport suspension and sport-tuned steering. Otherwise, it features the same mechanical hardware as the Corolla SE and XSE, including a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine supplying 169 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 151 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm.
• Tech: In addition to the new Corolla FX special edition, Toyota now offers a larger 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system in this compact car. If the size, design, and implementation of the new 10.5-inch touchscreen doesn’t represent progress, the underlying connected services technology does.
• Safety: Toyota equips every 2025 Corolla with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0) collection of driver assistance systems. Nevertheless, TSS 3.0 is an impressive offering in an affordable compact car.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
