2013 Tesla Model S Signature Review
by John

It's a Tesla

We just moved from Boston to Vermont where I have less use for the Tesla. In Boston it was a terrific car to drive around the city and highways year round. What I love most about the Tesla is that when I have to get in the car and drive somewhere 30-40 miles I see it as a pleasure rather than a chore. It's that fun to drive.

Avg. Dealer Rating: (16 reviews) "Very disappointed with nearly every single aspect of my experience with Lev Kia of Framingham. Will not return, nor will I recommend anyone shop here. To start off on the one positive note: Gabriel was very friendly and prompt in setting up an appointment for me to test drive the vehicle I was interested in, and was very friendly when I arrived. He was prompt in following up via email as well once I had visited. I can't say anything positive about the rest of my experience here. When I arrived, I was introduced to a salesman who promptly went and pulled around the car I was looking to test drive. He said we would have to wait a few minutes because they didn't currently have a plate to put on the car to drive it (since many other customers were test driving at this point in time), but that we could check out the car itself before hitting the road. Great, no issue there. As we began to look at the vehicle, I realized that the car did not have a third row seat, which was something I was looking for in a new vehicle. Of course this is my responsibility for not confirming this before trekking all the way over there from the North Shore, but that's the thing. I was the one that went out of my way to look at a car that didn't actually fit what I was looking for, so naturally that's a disappointment. Instead of trying to suggest any other option, he decided that insinuating that I didn't read the advertisement (because surely the advertisement must have clearly indicated that this did not have a third row...which it did not) was an appropriate way to respond. He then proceeded to tell me that finding an SUV with a third row seat for that price was like finding a needle in a haystack. I indicated that I would still like to test drive the vehicle, regardless. We went back inside and from that moment on, this particular salesman decided to pretend as though I no longer existed. My mom and I sat in the dealership until another salesman (?) asked if we had test-driven the car we came to look at. We said we had not yet. He jumped up from the reception desk and quickly put a plate on for us so we could test drive the car. Much to our surprise and disappointment, about a minute into our test drive I looked down and noticed the gas light was on. At this point, I had had enough. There was no way I was going to drive this car on E. As I walked back into the dealership, our "salesman" continued to pretend I didn't exist, and while doing so, rudely carried on a conversation directly in front of the reception desk where the other man who had helped get the plate on the car for me was sitting. After trying to ask me how the test drive was from behind the crowd and the desk, the man finally stepped out from behind the desk and came to get the key from me. I kindly but matter-of-factly notified him that the car was on E, to which he replied, "Oh, we would have come and gotten you if you were stranded." .... He then asked if I wanted him to put more gas in the car so I could continue driving it. I politely said, "No thank you. Thank you for your time" and left. I'm not one to write reviews often, but this whole experience was a huge disappointment and an utter waste of my time. Shopping for a car is already enough of a headache, and to be treated this way on top of it all was completely unnecessary."
