This car is awesome! not only is it awesome looking, but it performs extremely well. its easy to handle and i like that the brakes arent touchy like most models out there. its only needed minor repairs like fuses that keep blowing and one time the windshield wiper came off track. It's appearance is stellar. i love the coupe doors and the low profile tires. the interior could be a little prettier, though. i'd say it gets maybe a little under par on gas mileage which is one major downfall of this car. But overall, this car is wonderful! i'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a sweet looking ride that handles well.

accels well, handles the road awesomely, power pretty much everything, little repairs, reliable, awesome on gas, available in manual! looks good, super fun to drive. headlights arent the brightest, but can be fixed with aftermarket bulbs, parts are fairly easy to find second-hand, but to buy new can get a little costly! overall, i love it, since parts are rarely replaced.

My car is nice it handles good on curves, gets excellent gas mileage and is a bit small but not so small that it's uncomfortable and it was very cheap to buy.

Great gas mileage, getting about 31 mpg highway, 25ish in town. Pickup on the Ion 3 is a noticeable difference from the others. Interior is stylish and roomy for a "two" door. The rear doors are "suicide" style and very convenient for getting items in and out, as well as people. Love the fold down rear seats and the way the front seat folds down and has a hard plastic backing for protection. As a brand new car, with full coverage insurance, out rates only went up $57 every 6 months from our 2000 Cavalier. The first major maintenance, spark plugs and wires, trans flush, etc. is not due for 100,000 miles. Love that also!

The Saturn Ion replaced the S-Series as Saturn's signature compact sedan and coupe. With a roomy interior, ample cargo space, and a more powerful engine, the Ion started out with promise and developed a following among tuners when it introduced the 205 hp Red Line in 2004. However, for all the progress, enthusiasm died down as Saturn failed to make the necessary adjustments for interior materials and engine noise. Saturn made plans to discontinue the Ion in 2007 and replace it with the Astra for 2008.
