What Nissan Maxima do most buyers choose?

The Nissan Maxima years with the most listings are 2017, 2018, and 2016.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right combination of price, condition, and equipment. They also often sit in the sweet spot where the Maxima’s style and features remain appealing while prices are more approachable than newer examples.

What is the Nissan Maxima's resale value?

Most model years are moving lower year over year, which is good news if you want a used Maxima at a more approachable price. The declines are especially pronounced on several recent years, while a few older and newer examples are changing more gradually. Overall, the pattern favors used buyers looking for stronger value.

The 2023 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2023, 2014, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
