Why it stands out
The Nissan Maxima is a compelling option for buyers seeking a blend of style, performance, and technology. Known as Nissan's flagship sedan, it offers a sporty driving experience with its powerful V6 engine and engaging handling, earning the reputation of a "four-door sports car." Additionally, the Maxima comes well-equipped with advanced safety features and modern tech amenities, making it a great value in the midsize sedan market. With competitive pricing on late-model used examples, it presents an opportunity for buyers to enjoy luxury and performance without breaking the bank.
Other model years to consider
For those considering the Nissan Maxima, the 2018 and 2016 model years stand out as particularly cost-effective options. The 2018 model, with an average price of approximately $14,855 and a strong user rating of 4.6/5, offers excellent value along with a high percentage of good deals available in the market. Meanwhile, the 2016 model provides a slightly lower entry price at around $12,423 and boasts a user rating of 4.7/5, making it another attractive choice for budget-conscious buyers seeking reliability and positive customer feedback.
Model years to approach with caution
When evaluating the Nissan Maxima across various model years, buyers should consider user feedback patterns and market positioning to make informed decisions. For instance, model years like 2007 and 2005 stand out with high user ratings, but they also come with a significant percentage of listings categorized as not good or great deals, indicating potential value considerations in the marketplace. Conversely, older models such as those from the late '80s and early '90s may offer a different driving experience and value proposition that could appeal to specific buyer preferences, though they tend to have lower ratings overall.

What people say
Great car! Awesome features. The only thing I plan to add is a remote starter and a rear spoiler. Runs like a dream!
Considering that i have the lowest trim, this car has some very cool features that you don’t normally find in base models! I love the interior comfort and the smooth ride it provides. The exterior is such a beautiful design, I get compliments on the rarity of the car. When you see it, you have to do a double take!
Love ❤️ maxima Great fun sporty long lasting stylish car
Great car for my son. Loaded with lots of extras. Drives great and looks great.
The Maxima is one of my favorite cars, it has lots of power and its very stylish. This particular one is has heated seats and steering wheel, I like that it has dual Sun roof. My only issue is that front sunroof doesnt have a cover up so to not let in any sun when too hot.
