This car is a work of art. People drool over and it brings a smile to my face daily. MBZ did it right. The colors are rich, the wheels complimentary, the interior a masterpiece. There's a subtle growl from the exhaust that reminds you that there is power to play.

Overview
About the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is one of the more affordable of the brand’s large luxury sedans, and it’s impressive as long as it’s not compared to the much more upscale S-Class. The CLS handles better than its size implies, and its potent acceleration and comfortable cabin round out the experience. Competitors include the Audi A7, Genesis G90, and Mercedes’ own E-Class.
What are the advantages of the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class?
- Posh cabin
- User-friendly technology
- Comfortable ride and handling
What is the best Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class model year?
If you’re in the market for a used CLS-Class, keep in mind that it was last fully redesigned in 2019, while in 2021 it got an updated infotainment system and 2022 brought standard all-wheel drive.
What are the disadvantages of the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class?
- Cramped second row
- Not much cargo space
- Some competitors are a better value
Comparison: Is the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class better than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class?
The S-Class is much more expensive than the CLS-Class, with a higher starting price and top trims that can cost three times as much as the CLS. However, the S-Class is also notably more impressive in terms of performance and quality.
Is the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class a reliable car?
The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class has not been rated for reliability on J.D. Power’s 100-point scale for the current generation.
Is the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class worth the cost?
Yes, although it’s not the best value in the segment. Though the CLS-Class is priced fairly for its performance and features, some competitors are just as good at a slightly lower price.
