What Mazda CX-30 do most buyers choose?

The Mazda CX-30 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, price, and condition. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and more accessible pricing.

What is the Mazda CX-30's resale value?

Most model years are moving lower year over year, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. One year is still edging up, but the broader pattern shows recent prices easing across much of the lineup. The biggest drop is especially notable for shoppers targeting newer inventory.

The 2023, 2022, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Mazda CX-30 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −11.55% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −3.67%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 40.9% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 39.7%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $23,168. The Mazda CX-30 offers an upscale cabin and a fun-to-drive character that make it feel more premium than many small crossovers.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: All CX-30 models have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but higher trim levels add a turbocharger. Without turbocharging, the engine makes a healthy 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. With the turbo, it cranks out 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque when running on regular gas, or 250 hp/320 lb-ft on premium.
• Tech: Mazda Connect is the name of the CX-30’s infotainment system, and it comes with two different screen sizes and varying levels of functionality. In the S, you get an 8.8-inch display, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two USB-C ports, and basic voice recognition technology.
• Safety: For 2026, Mazda has enhanced the drivetrain with a brake-based limited-slip differential to improve traction in a variety of driving situations.
• Starting price: Prices range from $27,870 to $39,395, including the $1,495 destination charge.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
