The Lincoln Town Car has long been celebrated for its comfort, spaciousness, and reliability across various model years. Drivers consistently appreciate its smooth ride and luxurious feel, making it an excellent choice for long trips. However, some have noted that certain features can feel outdated and criticized the car's fuel economy, which could be better compared to modern vehicles. Customers say
Additionally, while the build quality is often praised, there are mentions of maintenance challenges, particularly with older models. Overall, it's a favorite among those who value classic luxury and comfort, despite occasional concerns about the cost of repairs and performance in urban settings.

Great features. Definitely a good value. It’s missing about a hundred horsepower. I would compare it to a Crown Victoria.

Overview
Lincoln introduced its full-size luxury sedan in 1981, when the Town Car had a lot of company among similar domestic products. Stately, elegant, and spacious, the Town Car commands respect.
This truly American vehicle has often been used as a limousine. As a rival of cars such as the Buick Park Avenue and various Cadillac models, the Town Car has survived.
Once full of corners, like a long, flat box, the Town Car lost some of its edges over the years in the name of aerodynamics. It remained stately and elegant through it all. But times keep a-changing, and this barge of the American road probably won't be around forever.
