We bought it new as an extra car. After 15 years of service, it has never had any unusual problems.

I like the look and overall ride of this vehicle, but Chrysler dropped the ball on putting defective Front Suspension and Cross members in this vehicle. NO Recall on the defective Suspension. Luckily I had Extended Warranty that covered complete replacement ! (only 40,000 miles) Just got a front Crossmember replaced under "Service Bulletin" status, that I found out from my Non Dealer Mechanic. Completely rusted out at 65,000 miles, 7 years. Don't buy a 2007 Compass, way to many Bugs that were not worked out, or admitted to by Chrysler.

Love my Compass 4X4! Handles the snow here in Wisconsin like a dream, the whole reason I purchased it. Comfortable interior, love the appearance, gas mileage is great, all around much more than I expected. Very satisfied with my Compass.

Dependable. Very good fuel mileage for a vehicle that has AWD and 4WD. Very roomy and comfortable for a smaller vehicle. Handles and rides like a good car. Overall, can't beat 30+ mpg and the variable valve timing is awesome. Gives me what I need when I need it. Whether it's torque or rpm or fuel mileage. It's been bang on so far. I will buy another Jeep product.
