Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Tucson Hybrid standard advanced safety features
• Infotainment: 8-inch screen in the Blue and SEL Convenience offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
• Fuel efficiency: 37 mpg city, 36 highway, 37 combined (and 38 across the board for the Blue trim level)

Which Hyundai Tucson Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid offers these trims:

• Blue: The entry trim brings heated front seats, cloth upholstery, an eight-way power driver seat, and a proximity key, making it the value-focused starting point.
• SEL Convenience: This trim adds a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free smart tailgate, a 10.25-inch digital driver information display, wireless device charging, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a 10-color ambient lighting kit. It stands out as the best-value trim for shoppers who want a richer feature set.
• Limited: This trim upgrades the ambient lighting to 64 colors and adds heat to the steering wheel, ventilation for the front seats, and memory for the driver’s seat. It also brings a surround-view monitor, highway-driving assist with adaptive cruise control, navigation, blind-spot view monitor, and remote smart park assist.

What Hyundai Tucson Hybrid do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-volume years usually draw more shoppers because they offer more inventory to compare, more pricing spread, and more chances to find the right trim and condition. They also tend to be the easiest years to shop quickly when you want a broad selection.

What is the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid's resale value?

The table shows steady downward movement across the lineup, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. The newer model years are still easing down, while the older years have seen larger drops over the past year. That pattern gives you a clearer path to value, especially if you want a recent model with a lower entry price than when it was new.

The 2025, 2024, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid safe?

• 2022: 8/10

The Tucson Hybrid comes standard with a broad suite of driver-assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, cyclist detection, blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, safe-exit warning, and rear occupant alert.

For the safest used buy, the 2022 model posts the highest confirmed score of 8/10.

Should I buy a used Hyundai Tucson Hybrid now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −3.1% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −3.64%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 34.7% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 35.2%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $28,765. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid offers a roomy cabin, a refined ride, and a polished everyday character that make it easy to live with.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: All Tucson Hybrids get AWD and a 1.6-liter turbo-four, the engine alone makes 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, and the combined system horsepower jumps to 226 while torque climbs to 258 lb-ft.
• Tech: The smaller 8-inch screen in the Blue and SEL Convenience offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while the 10.25-inch touchscreen requires a wired connection.
• Safety: Move up to the Limited to also get a surround-view monitor, highway-driving assist with adaptive cruise control, navigation, blind-spot view monitor, and remote smart park assist.
• Starting price: The Tucson Hybrid skips the SE trim, so the cheapest you can find one is $29,050 before destination and floor mats.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
