What people are saying:

4.4

The Hyundai Azera is celebrated for its luxury features, spacious interior, and strong performance across its model years. Owners frequently enjoy the smooth ride, powerful V6 engine, and reliability, making it a comfortable choice for long trips. However, many drivers do voice concerns about fuel economy, particularly with the V6 engine, and some mention the vehicle's declining resale value given its discontinuation. Overall, the Azera stands out as a lavish yet practical option in the full-size car segment.

Great luxury car with many features not found elsewhere in this era cars - both power seats, auto adjusting rearview mirror, automanual gearshift, sun curtain, hydraulic hood latch, good sound Reliability - good quality components that last long without problem. Powerful engine. Negatives - fuel economy, given v6 3.8L engine - resale value as vehicle was discontinued

Surprising performance - acceleration, braking, handling for a vehicle about the size of a Buick. Another rental on a trip from Portland, OR to Pasco, WA in July, 2008. We put about 600 miles on the car and used 25 gallons of gas. That works out to 24 mpg. Not bad. This car had all the bells and whistles. Manual shift capability came in handy for long windy downhills on 97 when stuck behind a row of cars following a large truck. When the opportunity arose to pass, I punched it and we passed 4 in about a half mile. Plenty of room for 4 adults. I later found out this car sells for around $30,000. Quite a bargain for all that you get. Hyundai really did its homework. The only negative findings were the poor performance of XM radio and the glare off the console.

Performance is exceptional. Build quality has some squeeks etc. Appearance is great.Mileage city is 21 hwy 28 A pleasure to drive. Bought it for 18,900 and couldn't be happier considering that the same car with Ult. Pkg went for $30,000 plus last year. I got mine with 7900 miles, I am very happy with it. I don't know what Hyundai is thinking in getting rid of this car??????

Drives smooth as butter. Very silent.but has the power under the hood to accellerate very fast. hardly use the manual assisted gear shift, but now and then its fun, remembers me of my wild racing days. Sturdy built, would have liked less plastic between the leatherette trim. the plastic is squeeqie on the window trim. good mileage for size of car. avg 21 mpg. is really fun to drive.
