Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Safety Sense
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen display hosts Google Built-in, and wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto are also included as standard equipment.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2026 Passport should return an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city, 25 highway, 21 combined in RTL trim and 18/23/20 in TrailSport and TrailSport Elite trims.

Which Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Passport offers these trims:

• RTL: The entry trim brings the 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, a 10.2-inch fully digital driver information display, Honda Safety Sense, standard AWD, seven drive modes, and a tow hitch available as an option. It suits you if you want the most accessible way into the redesigned Passport with the core tech and capability already included.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the Passport’s tougher personality, adding improved approach and departure angles, better ground clearance, skid plates, all-terrain tires, and a tow hitch as standard equipment. It also brings the more adventure-focused look and feel that defines the model.
• TrailSport Elite: This trim adds the TrailWatch camera system with a birds-eye view, a 12-speaker Bose stereo, and genuine-leather upholstery, making it the most feature-rich choice for buyers who want the most comfort and trail visibility.

What Honda Passport do most buyers choose?

The Honda Passport years with the most listings are 2023, 2022, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they offer a strong mix of availability, pricing, and familiar equipment. When more listings are on the market, you also get more chances to compare condition, mileage, and deal quality.

What is the Honda Passport's resale value?

Most Passport model years are showing lower prices than a year ago, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The declines are strongest in the older and mid-cycle years, while the newest model is nearly flat. That pattern suggests you can find better value in several recent model years without giving up the Passport’s core appeal.

The 2026 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2026, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
