And, its rear door is a double door: one opens upward, the other folds down like a tailgate. The Element also has a variation of suicide doors - the kind where the door handles of the reard doors butt up against the door handles of the front doors. Unlike real suicide doors though, the front doors of the Element must be open in order to open the rear doors.

Reliable car with lots of space. It’s the epitome of a Southern California surf/beach car. Easy to clean and not a lot of pieces to hassle with or break.
Honda Elements are what I think is the best model that they ever made. They made a big mistake getting rid of this model. They should have tried to re-market it. There still to this day a big demand for these cars and they stopped making them in 2011. Wake up Honda!!!!
Incredible, versatile car. Perfect for camping, pets, whatever. Back seats come out for an amazing amount of space. Very tight turning radius. I love my Element and wish they were still making them, Id be first in line for another one. I will drive mine until the wheels fall off or you pry the keys out of my cold, dead fingers.
I own a 06 Honda element ex manual transmission 290,000 miles. It’s a great car, but it would have been better as a hybrid and have the back windows to go down, plus it has a bit of an issue with blind spots. I don’t know what to replace it with. I love the versatility of it and it is great for travel.
