Used Honda Accord for Sale near Jonesboro, IL

How much does the Honda Accord cost in today's market?

Used Honda Accord prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Honda Accord's current nationwide average price is $18,901, and its lowest point over the past year was $17,824. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the Honda Accord is a strong used-car pick if you want a roomy, comfortable sedan with broad appeal and a long-running reputation for being easy to live with. The all-generations owner rating is 4.42/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners repeatedly praise the Accord for its spacious interior, smooth ride, reliability, and fuel efficiency. Across the model years, the cabin comfort and everyday practicality come through as recurring strengths, along with the car’s polished driving feel and well-rounded character.

Expert reviews rate the 2021 and 2014 models among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs in recent expert reviews center on pricing, the absence of all-wheel drive, and some tech or comfort complaints depending on the year and trim. Even so, the Accord’s mix of space, refinement, and strong safety credentials keeps it near the top of many used-sedan shopping lists.

32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Honda Accord models reliable?

Owners consistently describe the Accord as a dependable, comfortable sedan with strong fuel economy and a smooth driving experience. Expert reviews also reinforce the Accord’s reputation for being easy to live with, especially when you want a practical family car with a polished feel.

• Owners rate the Honda Accord between 3.5 and 5.0 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership picture looks favorable overall, especially if you verify maintenance history and choose a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used Honda Accord?

Across all model years, at 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2023 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing
• Infotainment: a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, and HondaLink connected services
• Fuel efficiency: According to the EPA, the Accord LX and EX should return 32 mpg in combined driving.

Which Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Accord offers these trims:

• LX: The entry trim uses the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder and gives you the Accord’s core sedan formula at the lowest price point in the 2023 lineup.
• EX: This step-up trim adds an eight-speaker audio system, and it is the best-value trim if you want a more complete everyday setup without moving up the lineup.
• Sport: From this trim up, hybrid power is standard, so you get the hybrid system along with a more performance-oriented position in the range.
• Touring: This upper trim sits at the top of the 2023 lineup and is the natural choice if you want the most upscale version of the Accord’s hybrid setup.

What Honda Accord do most buyers choose?

The Honda Accord years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, more pricing competition, and a broader mix of trims and conditions. That usually makes it easier to find the right combination of features and value.

What is the Honda Accord's resale value?

Most Accord model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it points to softer pricing across much of the lineup. The newer recent-model years are also showing declines, so you may find better value on late-model examples than you would have a year ago. The smallest changes are concentrated in the older model years, which suggests those cars have been moving more steadily.

The 2015, 2016, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Honda Accord safe?

Should I buy a used Honda Accord now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −4.38% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −3.35%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 33.5% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 36.4%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $25,147. The Honda Accord offers a roomy cabin, a comfortable ride, and a polished everyday driving experience.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Honda equips the 2023 Accord LX and EX with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 192 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 192 pound-feet of torque between 1,700 rpm and 5,000 rpm, and the Accord LX and EX should return 32 mpg in combined driving.
• Tech: Honda equips the Accord LX and EX with a standard 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and the infotainment system includes Bluetooth connectivity, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, and HondaLink connected services.
• Safety: Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, a collection of advanced driving assistance systems that can help to prevent a collision, and it includes adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and lane-centering assist.
• Starting price: The 2023 Accord LX has a base price of $27,295.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
