Great value for the money. Compares to Audi Q5, lexus RX350 and Porsche Macau with similar trim options. GV70 definately a better ride than either Audi or Porsche as they were very stiff and overall handling goes to GV70 as well. Lexus was smoother ride but felt underpowered and handling not as tight as Genesis. Pricing for Genesis just under Lexus, but blows Audi and Poesche out of the warer.

The GV70 is still in its first generation and has been available since 2022. The GV70 has essentially been a carryover every year of production so far. The only major enhancement has been the Electrified GV70, the same vehicle with an electric powertrain, which was introduced in 2023.
What are the disadvantages of the Genesis GV70?
The biggest challenge for the GV70 is its fuel economy. The fuel economy with the V6 is grim: 21 MPG combined, with city fuel mileage as low as 19. That’s full-size truck territory. And it doesn’t get any better if you choose the four-cylinder which offers the same dismal city fuel mileage and only beats the combined figure by one lonely mile per gallon. Now you see why Genesis offers it with an electric motor.

Comparably equipped, a GV70 with the V6 is going to be priced within hundreds of dollars of the BMW X3 M40i, not exactly an entry-level SUV.
