How much does the Dodge Durango cost in today's market?

Used Dodge Durango prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Dodge Durango's current nationwide average price is $27,467, and its lowest point over the past year was $26,110. Recently, prices have come down for the 2024 and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the Dodge Durango is a strong pick if you want a three-row SUV with space, power, and a distinctive personality. The all-generations owner rating is 4.55/5 across every model year in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on condition, maintenance history, and a careful pre-purchase inspection, especially on older examples.

What should I look for when buying a used Dodge Durango?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is solid at 79.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2022 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Blind-spot monitors and front/rear parking sensors are standard.
• Infotainment: Every Durango comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 5, which features navigation, HD Radio, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, over-the-air (OTA) updates for the infotainment, and wireless Apple CarPlay.

Which Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Durango offers these trims:

• GT: The entry point with rear-wheel drive, the 3.6-liter V6, and the standard 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen; it suits you if you want the lowest starting point.
• GT Plus: Adds leather, heated first- and second-row seats, ventilated front seats, adaptive cruise control, and a wireless charging pad, making it the best-value trim for many shoppers.
• GT Plus Hemi AWD: Adds the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, all-wheel drive, high-beam assist, a sunroof, and Nappa leather for stronger performance and a richer cabin.
• GT Premium AWD Hemi V8: Adds a leather-wrapped instrument panel, a suede headliner, more driver assistance features, and a 19-speaker stereo for a more upscale feel.
• SRT Hellcat: The performance flagship with the supercharged V8, huge Brembo brakes, sport suspension, and launch-control functions for buyers who want maximum power.

What Dodge Durango do most buyers choose?

The Dodge Durango years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you a wider selection of listings and a strong mix of pricing and equipment. That usually makes it easier to compare trims, colors, and condition before you buy.

What is the Dodge Durango's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, and several recent examples show double-digit drops that can create better buying opportunities. One model year is moving up, which shows that demand can still support certain versions even as the broader pattern leans lower. For used shoppers, that mix points to stronger value on many years while still rewarding careful trim and condition comparisons.

The 2023, 2015, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
