Customers say

The Chevrolet Celebrity, across its model years, is generally regarded as a practical and reliable car, especially favored for its good gas mileage and spacious interior. Owners appreciate its low maintenance costs and ability to keep running under tough conditions. However, many drivers express dissatisfaction with its unattractive design and report issues with performance over time, particularly in terms of handling power and various reliability concerns. While the Celebrity holds a nostalgic charm for some, the overall feedback highlights the trade-offs in style versus functionality.

I absolutely love the body lines and drive-ability of the vehicle, still turns heads at nearly 25 years old. Getting costly for repairs. Putting up as a restoration project, only reads 73,942 on odometer, and too clean to not be actual mileage.

bought it used to use a s a winter car & got 3 years out of it; it survived submersion flooding during a hurricane, and being hit by several other vehicles & still kept going... finally transplanted the motor & trans into a similar age body when they had over 280,000 miles on them & were still purring like a kitten

This was my first car ever, handed down from my dad who bought it off my grandparents. It was 18 years old when I was driving it, so in all fairness it was probably a lot nicer when it was new. Just about everything was broke: the fuel gage, power locks, AC, cruise control, power windowns sometimes stuck, ceiling felt was falling down, it was really slow. On the positive side it was nice to have all that room, it's too bad they barely make real wagons anymore.
