Customers say
The Chevrolet C/K 3500 has garnered a reputation for its robust construction and impressive towing capacity, making it a favored choice among truck enthusiasts, especially for heavy hauling tasks. Owners love its powerful 454 V-8 engine, noting its torque and reliability over long distances. Comfort during long rides and spacious cargo capacity are also appreciated. However, many drivers express concerns about fuel economy, with some labeling it a gas guzzler. Additionally, issues such as maintenance costs and frame rust worry some owners, which can detract from its overall value.

Not a good value, over priced. Took vehicle for test ride. Brakes are soft, surface rust will only get wires, paint flaking, underneath covered in black rust proofing more probably to hide more rust. For a 1997 the truck is in average to below average shape. Offered dealer $9K they declined and wanted the high price of $13K. Don’t waste your time with this dealer, they don’t bargain at all.

You get what you pay for.You never buy one of these trucks because you want a vehicle that gets 30 mpg. The 7.4l, 454 was the best drive train ever for this truck. On long rides, it's as comfortable as an suv. With the full size bed, you can bring a ton of stuff with you (literally)

I like the fact that for a very minimal investment I have a truck that will complete a day of work and get me home on time. The truck paid for itself hauling debris from a job site on its first week at work. its easy to work on, parts are cheap.. and hopefully, will have a paint job some time this summer!!! This is going to be a fun project for my son and I to make a playtoy for him when he gets a little older.
