What BMW i7 do most buyers choose?

The BMW i7 years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choices, which can make it easier to compare prices, colors, and equipment. They also tend to be the years shoppers return to most often because inventory is deeper and deal opportunities are easier to find.

What is the BMW i7's resale value?

Both model years show meaningful price declines, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. The larger drop on the newer year suggests stronger near-term value movement, while the older year also shows a solid reduction from its prior pricing. Should I buy a used BMW i7 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

Consider waiting if:

• Range & charging: The i7’s standard dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) powertrain is rated at 536 horsepower and 549 pound-feet of torque. BMW quotes a zero to 60 mph time of 4.9 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 149 mph.
• Tech: Starting up front, we have the BMW Curved Display, which combines a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch touchscreen in the same housing for one continuous screen. Connectivity includes the expected wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus 5G with a car-specific eSIM, and over-the-air (OTA) software update capability.
• Safety: The Driving Assistance Professional Package adds Highway Assistant, which BMW says enables hands-free driving on divided highways at speeds up to 80 mph.
• Starting price: Pricing starts at $120,295 (with destination) for the sole xDrive60 trim level.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
