Which BMW Z4 trim should I buy?

• sDriveM40i: This trim adds the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, stronger performance, 19-inch wheels with non-run-flat tires, and more of the Track Handling package equipment already included, making it the pick if you want the most power and the most focused driving character.

What BMW Z4 do most buyers choose?

The BMW Z4 years with the most listings are 2021, 2020, and 2025.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choices, which can make it easier to find the right trim, color, and condition. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so pricing and deal availability are easier to compare.

What is the BMW Z4's resale value?

The Z4's pricing trend in the table shows upward movement, which means recent used examples have been gaining value rather than softening. That can make the newest model years more expensive to buy, but it also signals strong demand for the car. For shoppers, that usually means you may need to move quickly when a well-priced example appears.

The 2022 model years have held their value best, with prices flat to rising year-over-year.
