What BMW X1 do most buyers choose?

The BMW X1 years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they offer the broadest mix of availability, newer features, and current-market pricing. When inventory is deeper, you also get more chances to compare condition, mileage, and equipment before you buy.

What is the BMW X1's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it creates more room to find value. The biggest drops are concentrated in newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older examples show smaller declines. Overall, the pattern points to a market where buyers can benefit from softer pricing across much of the lineup.

The 2016, 2014, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
