I currently owned an luxury SUV but was looking to buy something smaller/sportier for me & my 7 yr daughter who is extremely active with cheer, school and sports to drive like a coupe style vehicle when I came across the BMW X1, a smaller luxury SUV, that drives and feels like a couple for me. It has everything we was looking for in next vehicle, space, driving & safety features, while giving us the feeling of luxury, we expect and deserve in our vehicles! We love it & the gas mileage is perfect for our active lifestyles.
The driving experience honestly feels like butter. So smooth and relaxing.
Blind sensors would be great but otherwise good features

Ive owned many BMWs so pretty knew what to expect with the 2014 X1, so this one didnt disappoint. Its spacious, easily-maneuverable, and has plenty of pep. All controls are easy to use, and with Sport, Premium, and Technology Packages, its very nicely equipped. Being rear-wheel drive-based and having heavy feel hydraulic steering, its much more fun-to-drive than the next generation X1. My only complaints are that the ride can be a bit jarring over bumps, and specific to the one I purchased, I wish it had Xenon headlights and at least Park Distance Control sensors.
