| Model Year | Accident-Free % |
|---|---|
| 2025 | 88.2% |
| 2024 | 85.2% |
| 2023 | 84.6% |

| 2016 | 61.4% |

Understated elegance combined with virtual station wagon practicality with hatchback. If you subscribe to the theory less is more and prefer driving a wolf in sheeps clothing this luxury sedan is a great option. The AWD is useful in New England weather and the twin turbo V8 engine is a 450 HP hairy chested beast. It’s very easy to dip into the throttle and get yourself into trouble but overall the car skews more towards a grand touring luxury car that also handles like a heavier sports car. Yeah it’s got a sweet tooth for premium fuel but 19-20 mpg is respectable for the performance.

This is our 8th Audi in the past 20 years. We have experienced a high level of quality, performance, and value from this brand. We considered other vehicles from Genesis and Porsche and they did not compare to the S7. The styling is sleek, there are ample safety features, and the technology is abundant.

Overview
About the Audi S7
The S7 is a sportier version of the Audi A7 hatchback, but a step below the RS 7 in the model hierarchy. It takes the standard A7’s stylish shape and adds a bit more power and sharper handling. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe.
What are the advantages of the Audi S7?
- Fun to drive
- Stylish design
- Easy-to-use technology
What is the best Audi S7 model year?
The S7 arrived in the U.S. for the 2012 model year, with a redesigned second-generation model launching for 2018. The second-generation A7 brought updated tech and blockier styling, and is still in production today with minimal changes.
What are the disadvantages of the Audi S3?
- Can get expensive
- Cramped back seat
Comparison: Is the Audi S7 better than the Audi A7?
The choice between an Audi A7 and S7 depends on whether price or performance is the priority. The S7 is more expensive, but it has a more powerful engine (a 444-horsepower 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 in the most recent models). However, the S7 is still a variant of the A7, so most other things carry over.
Is the Audi S7 a reliable car?
Audi has a reasonably good reputation for reliability, but no specific data on the S7 is available at this time.
Is the Audi S7 worth the cost?
Like other Audi “S” models, the S7 offers a bit more performance than the car it’s based on, without going to the extremes of the automaker’s hardcore “RS” models. By adding a little more go to the A7’s show, it’s a good compromise between the A7 and RS 7.
