CarGurus recommends the 2024 Audi Q7

Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Audi Q7 5 / 5 stars.

Why it stands out
The 2024 Audi Q7 stands out as a three-row luxury SUV that blends clean design, strong road manners, and a practical cabin. Audi’s second-generation Q7 is described as cleaner and more angular than before, with matrix-design LED headlights, signature daytime running lights, a power-folding panoramic sunroof, and neater taillights. It also offers comfortable and spacious front seats and a second row that’s similarly accommodating, while the third row is smaller and best reserved for children.
For buyers, the Q7’s appeal is in its mix of technology and capability. The cabin includes Audi Virtual Cockpit and, for the first time in this generation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were available with the Navigation Plus package. The Q7 also offers a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that is the better choice over the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and it brings 7,700 pounds of towing capacity. Standard or available safety and driver-assistance features expanded over time, and the model has performed well in crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
There are tradeoffs, though. The base turbo four is criticized for not providing enough power and for unimpressive fuel economy because it has to work hard, and headlight performance was consistently poor through 2023. Cargo space is useful but not class-leading, and the Q7’s technology and equipment vary by build, so shoppers need to check carefully for the features they want most.
