For 2024, Audi added extra standard driver assistance tech, including adaptive cruise control and a lane-assist function. There are tradeoffs, though. The coupe’s trunk is less practical than the Sportback’s cargo area, and the convertible gives up around three cubic feet of trunk space because of its folding soft top. The manual transmission was dropped after 2019, so the 2024 A5 is aimed more at comfort, technology, and all-wheel-drive confidence than at old-school driver involvement.
